Thank you, that makes complete sense now. There now ine other question please. At the side of each row of A.x there are a vertical row of chain stitches, which I thought I needed to crochet. But at the line where I start bobble stitch i would start with 4 chains, then a further four chains and this is straight after the 2 chains from the end if the previous round. Please can you help me with my start and end process as I think i may be going wrong!
28.11.2016 - 11:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Trudi, on the row with bobble (= in A.z), you start with 4 ch (beg of round), then work 5 ch, 1 bobble, 3 ch (= A.1), then work A.2 (= 2 ch, 1 bobble, 3 ch) etc.. so that you will have 5 ch between each bobble. Happy crocheting!

I am sorry to ask such a basic question but I need help reading the a1 a2 etc part of the pattern. for example what does it mean work a1 a2 26 times across the width - how do I do that?
22.11.2016 - 21:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Trudi, you will work diagrams on same row as follows: work row 1 in A.1 (= 4 sts), then repeat row 1 in A.2 (= worked over the next 6 sts) in width over the next sts and finish working row 1 in A.3 over the last 9 sts. Then work row 2 in all diagrams and so on. Happy crocheting!

Sleeve - Can you tell me exactly where to begin for the sleeve? Thanks
16.08.2016 - 09:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandy, sleeve is worked in the round starting in the chain (= 8 ch) worked on body as you skipped sts for sleeve. Start from RS in the 5th ch of these 8 ch and crochet 1 sc, 3 ch (= 1st dc), 1 dc in each of the next 3 ch, then continue as explained and finish round with 1 dc in each of the remaining 4 ch under sleeve and join in the round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Happy crocheting!

Question on A.5 - says work this section 14 times in total? Doesn't make sense to me. Can you clarify this.
15.08.2016 - 10:06DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandy, after you have inc and get 224 sts, you have now enough sts to work a total of 14 repeats of A.5 in width on the round. Happy crocheting!

Gaarne uw advies
13.08.2016 - 10:39DROPS Design answered:
De aantallen kloppen: 4 st (A.1) + 29 keer 6 st (29 keer A.2) + 9 st (A.3) = 4 + 174 + 9 = 187 steken.

At the bottom of page 2 it states "Then work A.z over A.x (now work a.2 30 times). Do I work A.2 first and then A.z? When you look at the pattern it does not show another row of A.2. Only shows one row of DC stitches. Please clarify. Thanks
06.08.2016 - 17:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandy, you work A.1, A.2 and A.3 in width as before but work A.z in height, since you have inc 6 dc on last round in A.x you have now enough sts to work A.2 one more time in width, ie you can now work A.2 a total of 30 times in width. Happy crocheting!

Sandy wrote:
On the 8th row of A.z do you begin with 5 chains? Also at the end of row 8 there are 2 chains and when you begin the 9th row there are 9 chains a total of 11. What do you do with all the chains. Please clarify. Thanks you
02.08.2016 - 15:07DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandy, At the very beg of A.1 you'll see how to start each round, ie on round 8, start with 5 ch (= first 3 ch = 1st dc + 2 ch before the next 4 dc), then finish round 8 with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round - on round 9 start with 9 chains = first 4 ch = 1st tr, then last 5 chains = ch-space between tr groups), then finish round 9 with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round. Happy crocheting!

I have already completed that step. If you continue reading the next statement says " continue to work A.z as before but now work A.2 27 times in width." Please clarify. Thanks

Dear Sandy, work as before in width but with 1 more time A.2 in width, and continue A.z in height until A.z has been worked 1 time in height. Happy crocheting!
