Also for the sleeve cap how many stitches should you be decreasing in total - the pattern states you decrease until the piece measures 27 cm (size 12/18 mths), it would be very helpful if we actually knew how many stitches we should have left at the end of the decreasing.

I wanted to clarify what is meant by decreasing TWO stitches when you first start decreasing for the armhole in the front and back pieces. Normally you decrease ONE stitch every alternate row by knitting 2 stitches together (or SSK depending on side of work). How do you decrease 2 stitches?

Hi Jani, The stitches are cast off for the sleeve cap. Regards, Drops team.

Do you recommend doing the roses/stems pattern using the fair isle technique or could you do this using the duplicate stitch method? Thanks
14.08.2025 - 15:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs O'Rourke, both techniques would work, as you prefer, so either knit fair isle or embroider them afterwards with duplicate stitch method. Happy knitting!
