Hej! Jag undrar över drops snow färgen carmosinröd. Det är svårt att avgöra på skärmen om den är mer åt den varma, gula hållet eller kalla, blå. Skulle ni säga att den är en mer varm eller kall röd? Mvh Petra

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP-1: Increase by working 1 stitch in the stitch below the next stitch on the left needle (without slipping the next stitch off the needle), then 1 stitch in the next stitch on the left needle. The new stitches are continued in stockinette stitch. INCREASE TIP-2 (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g., 36 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g., 17) = 2.1. In this example, increase 1 stitch after approx. each 2nd stitch. I-CORD BIND-OFF: Cast on 2 stitches on the right needle. Slip these 2 stitches from the right to the left needle, so the strand is 2 stitches in on the left needle (the piece will be tightened into a small tube when working the stitches). ROW 1 (right side): Knit 1, knit the next 2 stitches twisted together. ROW 2 (right side): Slip 2 stitches from the right needle to the left needle, knit 1, knit the next 2 stitches twisted together. Repeat ROW 2 until there are 2 stitches left on the right needle. Slip these stitches from the right needle to the left needle. Bind off. Sew a small stitch to close the neckline. DECREASE TIP: Decrease alternately at the beginning and end of the round, with the decreases alternately on the right and left side of the marker-thread. Decrease at the beginning of the round by slipping the first stitch, knitting 1 and passing the slipped stitch over (1 stitch decreased). Decrease at the end of the round by knitting the last 2 stitches on the round together (1 stitch decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. The yoke is worked top down in the round with circular needle, from the right back shoulder. When the yoke is finished, it is divided for the body and sleeves. The body is continued in the round while the sleeves wait. The sleeves are worked top down in the round. Stitches are knitted up around the neckline and the neck worked in the round to finish. If there is a «0» in your chosen size, skip the information and go straight to the next instruction. YOKE: Cast on 36-38-39-41-43-45 stitches with circular needle size 15 MM = US 8 and 1 strand DROPS Polaris or 2 strands DROPS Snow. The beginning of the round is on the right back shoulder. Insert 1 marker after the first 12-13-13-14-14-15 stitches (= approx. mid-front); the piece is measured from this marker. Work stockinette stitch in the round. Remember to maintain the knitting gauge. When the yoke measures 3 cm = 1⅛" from the marker, increase 17-17-19-20-21-21 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE TIP-1 and INCREASE TIP-2 = 53-55-58-61-64-66 stitches. Continue stockinette stitch until the yoke measures 6-6-7-7-8-8 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾"-3⅛"-3⅛". Knit 1 round and increase 20-24-26-26-28-28 stitches evenly spaced = 73-79-84-87-92-94 stitches. Continue stockinette stitch until the yoke measures 10-11-12-13-14-14 cm = 4"-4⅜"-4¾"-5⅛"-5½"-5½". Knit 1 round and increase 24-26-28-28-30-32 stitches evenly spaced = 97-105-112-115-122-126 stitches. Continue stockinette stitch until the yoke measures 16-17-18-19-20-22 cm = 6¼"-6¾"-7"-7½"-8"-8¾". Knit 1 round and increase 15-17-18-19-20-20 stitches evenly spaced = 112-122-130-134-142-146 stitches. Continue stockinette stitch until the yoke measures 20-21-22-23-25-27 cm = 8"-8¼"-8¾"-9"-9¾"-10⅝" from the marker mid-front. DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: While working the stitches, divide for the body and sleeves as follows: Knit and then place the first 22-24-25-26-26-26 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 4-4-4-6-6-8 stitches (= in side mid-under the sleeve), knit 34-37-40-41-45-47 (= front piece), knit and place the next 22-24-25-26-26-26 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 4-4-4-6-6-8 stitches (= in side mid-under the sleeve), knit the last 34-37-40-41-45-47 stitches (= back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. BODY: = 76-82-88-94-102-110 stitches. Insert 1 marker in one side of the piece (in the middle of the 4-4-4-6-6-8 stitches cast on under the sleeve). Work to the marker, which is now the beginning of the round, and continue stockinette stitch in the round until the piece measures 46-48-48-50-52-54 cm = 18"-19"-19"-19¾"-20½"-21¼" from the marker, mid-front. Change to circular needle size 12 MM = US 17. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2), decreasing 0-2-0-2-2-2 stitches evenly on the first round = 76-80-88-92-100-108 stitches. When the rib measures 5-5-6-6-6-6 cm = 2"-2"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜", bind off with rib. The sweater measures 51-53-54-56-58-60 cm = 20"-21"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝" from the marker mid-front and approx. 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm = 22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26" from the top of the shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 22-24-25-26-26-26 sleeve-stitches from one thread on circular needle size 15 MM = US 8 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 4-4-4-6-6-8 cast-on stitches under the sleeve = 26-28-29-32-32-34 stitches. Insert 1 marker-thread in the middle of the 4-4-4-6-6-8 new stitches under the sleeve – start at the marker-thread. Work stockinette stitch in the round – AT THE SAME TIME, when the sleeve measures 3 cm = 1⅛" from the division, decrease under the sleeve as follows – read DECREASE TIP: Decrease 1 stitch, alternately on the left and right side of the marker-thread, every 10-10-10-7-6-6 cm = 4"-4"-4"-2¾"-2⅜"-2⅜" a total of 4-4-4-6-6-6 times (= 2-2-2-3-3-3 times on each side) = 22-24-25-26-26-28 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 45-45-45-45-43-41 cm = 17¾"-17¾"-17¾"-17¾"-17"-16⅛" from the division. Work an I-CORD BIND-OFF, read description above. The sleeve measures approx. 46-46-46-46-44-42 cm = 18"-18"-18"-18"-17¼"-16½". NECK: Using circular needle size 12 MM = US 17, start from the right side by the back right shoulder and knit up 1 stitch in each stitch around the cast-on edge = 36-38-39-41-43-45 stitches around the neck. Work stockinette stitch in the round, AT THE SAME TIME decrease 2 stitches on each round (= decrease 1 stitch over the middle of each sleeve) 0-1-1-1-2-2 times = 36-36-37-39-39-41 stitches. Work until the neck measures 6-6-7-7-7-7 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾"-2¾"-2¾". Work an I-cord bind-off. |
