Er mål på ermer korrekt? 47 cm på str S og 39 på str XXXL?
26.04.2024 - 06:32DROPS Design answered:

DROPS 232-11 |
|
------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (for sleeves): Work until there are 1 stitch left before the marker, 1 yarn over, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), 1 yarn over. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The body is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. The piece is divided for the armholes and each piece finished separately, back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle/double pointed needles, top down. A double neck is worked to finish. BODY: Cast on 128-136-150-162-180-198 stitches with circular needle size 5 MM = US 8 and DROPS Melody. Knit 1 round, then work rib (knit 1 twisted, purl 1) for 12 cm = 4¾". Change to circular needle size 7 MM = US 10.75 and knit 1 round where you decrease 12-12-14-14-16-18 stitches evenly spaced = 116-124-136-148-164-180 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! When the piece measures 33-34-35-36-37-38 cm = 13"-13⅜"-13¾"-14¼"-14½"-15", work the next round as follows: Bind off 2 stitches for the armhole, knit 56-60-66-72-80-88, bind off 2 stitches for the armhole, knit 56-60-66-72-80-88. Each piece is finished separately, back and forth. Place the first 56-60-66-72-80-88 stitches on a thread and work the last 56-60-66-72-80-88 stitches (back piece). BACK PIECE: = 56-60-66-72-80-88 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch. When the piece measures 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝", bind off the middle 20-22-22-24-26-26 stitches for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. Bind off 1 stitch on the next row from the neck = 17-18-21-23-26-30 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch until the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜", bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. FRONT PIECE: = 56-60-66-72-80-88 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch. When the piece measures 46-48-49-51-52-54 cm = 18"-19"-19¼"-20"-20½"-21¼", place the middle 14-16-16-18-20-20 stitches on a thread for the neck and finish each shoulder separately. Bind off on each row from the neck as follows: 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 2 times = 17-18-21-23-26-30 stitches on the shoulder. Continue with stockinette stitch until the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜", bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. SLEEVE: Knit up 50-52-54-58-60-62 stitches around the armhole in the outermost loop of the outermost stitch, using short circular needle size 7 MM = US 10.75 and DROPS Melody as follows: starting at the bottom of the armhole, knit up 25-26-27-29-30-31 stitches as far as the shoulder seam and then knit up 25-26-27-29-30-31 stitches back down to the bottom of the armhole. Insert 1 marker mid-under the sleeve. Work stockinette stitch until the sleeve measures 32-31-30-29-26-25 cm = 12½"-12¼"-11¾"-11⅜"-10¼"-9¾". Now increase 1 stitch on each side of the marker – read INCREASE TIP. Increase like this every 2nd round a total of 4 times = 58-60-62-66-68-70 stitches. Work until the piece measures 39-38-37-36-33-31 cm = 15¼"-15"-14½"-14¼"-13"-12¼". On the next round knit all stitches together 2 and 2 until there are 2-0-2-2-0-2 stitches left, knit these 2 stitches = 30-30-32-34-34-36 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 5 MM = US 8 and work rib (knit 1 twisted / purl 1) for 8 cm = 3⅛". Bind off with knit. Work the other sleeve in the same way. DOUBLE NECK: Start from the right side with short circular needle size 5 MM = US 8 and knit up 62 to 78 stitches (including the stitches from the thread and divisible by 2). Work stockinette stitch in the round for 3 cm = 1⅛". Work the next round as follows: Knit 2 together, 1 yarn over and repeat on the whole round (= folding edge). Continue with stockinette stitch (knitting the yarn overs on the next round to leave holes) for 3 cm = 1⅛". Bind off. Fold the neck double to the inside and sew down. To avoid the neck being tight and rolling outwards, it is important that the seam is elastic. |
