4x31=124. 124+62=168 oczek. Mam nadzieję, że pomogłam. Pozdrawiam!

Dear Eugenia, since Lima and Sky belong to same group you can use Lima instead of Sky here - use our yarn converter to get the new amount in each colour (remember to choose "2 strands"). You will find the list of DROPS Stores shipping to US here. Happy knitting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 198 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 12) = 16.5. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after alternately each 16th and 17th stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. STRIPES: The whole piece is worked with 2 strands Sky. 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm = 1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½"-1½"-1½" with 2 strands light jeans blue 2-3-3-3-3-4 cm = ¾"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½" with 2 strands white 6-6-6-6-7-7 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾" with 2 strands light jeans blue 2-3-3-3-3-4 cm = ¾"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½" with 1 strand white and 1 strand brick 6-6-6-6-7-7 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾" with 1 strand white and 1 strand light jeans blue 6-6-6-6-7-7 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾" with 2 strands jeans blue 2-3-3-3-3-4 cm = ¾"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½" with 2 strands brick 6-6-6-6-7-7 cm = 2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2¾"-2¾" with 2 strands white 2-3-3-3-3-4 cm = ¾"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½" with 1 strand white and 1 strand jeans blue PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Choose diagram for your size. The whole diagram is worked in stockinette stitch; yarn overs are knitted twisted on the next round – no holes! BINDING-OFF TIP: To avoid the bind-off edge being tight you can bind off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1 yarn over after approx. each 4th stitch at the same time as binding off and the yarn overs are bind off as normal stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles/ short circular needle, top down. NECK: Cast on 64-68-72-76-76-84 stitches with circular needle size 5.5 mm = US 9 and 2 strands light jeans blue. Knit 1 round then work rib with knit 2, purl 2 for 4 cm = 1½". Knit 1 round and decrease evenly spaced 2-2-4-4-0-6 stitches = 62-66-68-72-76-78 stitches. INSERT A MARKER HERE. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! YOKE: Change to circular needle size 6 mm = US 10 and continue with stockinette stitch and STRIPES – read description above, AT THE SAME TIME as working according to diagram A.1 (= 31-33-34-36-38-39 repeats on the round). When the diagram has been completed in height there are 186-198-238-252-266-273 stitches on the needle. On the next round increase 6-12-2-0-6-19 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE TIP in explanations above = 192-210-240-252-272-292 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch and stripes as before until the piece measures 21-23-25-27-29-31 cm = 8¼"-9"-9¾"-10⅝"-11⅜"-12¼" from the marker. Now divide the piece for body and sleeves as follows: Work the first 56-61-68-72-80-88 stitches as before (= back piece), place the next 40-44-52-54-56-58 stitches on a thread for the sleeve and cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 new stitches (= in side under the sleeve), work the next 56-61-68-72-80-88 stitches as before (= front piece), place the next 40-44-52-54-56-58 stitches on a thread for sleeve and cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 new stitches (= in side under the sleeve). BODY: = 124-134-148-160-176-192 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch until the stripes are finished. Now work the rest of the piece with 2 strands light jeans blue. Work until the piece measures 22 cm = 8¾" from the division; there is 6 cm = 2⅜" left to finished length. Work 1 round and increase 12-14-12-16-16-16 stitches evenly spaced = 136-148-160-176-192-208 stitches on the needle. Change to circular needle size 5.5 mm = US 9 and work rib in the round, with knit 2, purl 2 for 6 cm = 2⅜". Loosely bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl – read BINDING OFF TIP in explanations above. The sweater measures approx. 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜" from the shoulder down. SLEEVE: Place the 40-44-52-54-56-58 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle/double pointed needles size 6 mm = US 10 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 46-50-58-62-64-66 stitches. The beginning of the round is mid under the sleeve. Continue in the round with stockinette stitch and stripes as before. When the stripes are finished work the rest of the sleeve with 2 strands light jeans blue. Work until the sleeve measures 36-34-32-31-29-28 cm = 14¼"-13⅜"-12½"-12¼"-11⅜"-11" from the division; there is 6 cm = 2⅜" left to finished length. Work 1 round and decrease 2-2-2-2-4-2 stitches evenly spaced = 44-48-56-60-60-64 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 5.5 mm = US 9 and work rib with knit 2, purl 2 for 6 cm = 2⅜", then loosely bind off. Work the other sleeve in the same way. |
