Hej! Stämmer verkligen diagrammet på varv 29 av A.3? Det ser ut som att en av minskningarna lutar åt fel håll.

What is the gauge of this pattern please?
29.05.2019 - 15:51DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Almqvist, you will find the gauge for both needle size (larger and smaller) under the header - remember needle size is only a suggestion! If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller needles. Happy knitting!

*RYG- OG FORSTYKKE: = 192-212-232-256-284-312 masker. Fortsæt frem og tilbage i glatstrik.* Jeg forstår ikke, at der skal strikkes frem og tilbage, da der vel strikkes rundt hele vejen ned?

INFORMATION FOR THE PATTERN: RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. RAGLAN: Increase to raglan on each side of each marker thread as follows: Work until there are 2 stitches left before the marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 4 (the marker thread sits in the middle of these 4 stitches), 1 yarn over. Repeat at each marker thread (= 8 increased stitches). On the next round knit the yarn overs to leave holes. HOLES WITHOUT INCREASES: When the increases to raglan are finished, work as follows (so that the row of holes along the raglan line continues without further increases). Work holes without increasing on each side of each marker thread as follows: Work until there are 4 stitches left before the marker thread, knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, knit 4 (the marker thread sits in the middle of these 4 stitches), 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch, knit the next stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. Repeat at each marker thread. On the next round knit the yarn overs to leave holes. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. INCREASE TIP: Work until there are 2 stitches left before the marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 4 (the marker thread sits in the middle of these 4 stitches), 1 yarn over. Repeat at both marker threads (= 4 stitches increased). The yarn overs are worked twisted on the next round to avoid holes. ---------------------------------------------------------- TOP: The piece is worked in the round with circular needle, top down. The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles/short circular needle. YOKE: Cast on 116-120-124-132-136-144 stitches with short circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1.5 and BabyAlpaca Silk. Work 2 RIDGES – see description above. Start of the round = mid back. Change to circular needle size 3 mm / US 2.5. Knit 1 round, AT THE SAME TIME insert 4 marker threads in the piece as follows: Work 19-20-21-23-24-26 stitches (= half back piece), insert 1 marker thread, work 20 stitches (= sleeve), insert 1 marker thread, work 38-40-42-46-48-52 stitches (= front piece), insert 1 marker thread, work 20 stitches (= sleeve), insert 1 marker thread, work the last 19-20-21-23-24-26 stitches (= half back piece). Continue working stockinette stitch and increase to RAGLAN – see description over, as follows: REMEMBER THE GAUGE! Work stockinette stitch and increase 1 stitch on each side of each marker thread. Increase every 2nd round a total of 24-28-31-35-40-44 times. After all the increases there are 308-344-372-412-456-496 stitches on the needle. Continue with stockinette stitch and work HOLES WITHOUT INCREASES – see description above, until the piece measures 17-19-20-22-24-26 cm / 6⅝"-7⅜"-7⅞"-8⅝"-9⅜"-10 ¼" from the cast-on edge mid front. The next round is worked as follows: Work 43-48-52-58-64-70 stitches (= half back piece), place the next 68-76-82-90-100-108 stitches on 1 thread (= sleeve), cast on 10-10-12-12-14-16 new stitches on the needle (= under the sleeve), work 86-96-104-116-128-140 stitches (= front piece), place the next 68-76-82-90-100-108 stitches on 1 thread (= sleeve), cast on 10-10-12-12-14-16 new stitches on the needle (= under the sleeve) and work the remaining 43-48-52-58-64-70 stitches (= half back piece). Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 10-10-12-12-14-16 new stitches cast on under each sleeve. BODY: = 192-212-232-256-284-312 stitches. Continue in the round with stockinette stitch. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! When the piece measures 3 cm / 1" increase 1 stitch on each side of each marker thread – read INCREASE TIP. Increase like this every 2 cm / ¾" a total of 14 times = 248-268-288-312-340-368 stitches. When the piece measures 34-34-35-35-35-35 cm / 13⅜"-13⅜"-13 ¾"-13 ¾"-13 ¾"-13 ¾", change to circular needle size 2.5 mm / US 1.5 and work A.1 over all stitches. Then bind off with circular needle size 3 mm / US 2.5 (make sure that the bind-off edge is not tight). The piece measures approx. 37-37-38-38-38-38 cm / 14 ½"-14 ½"-14⅞"-14⅞"-14⅞"-14⅞" from where the piece was divided and a total of approx. 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm / 22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾" from the shoulder. SLEEVE: The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles/short circular needle. Place 68-76-82-90-100-108 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece double pointed needles/short circular needle size 3 mm / US 2.5 and, in addition, knit up 1 stitch in each of the 10-10-12-12-14-16 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 78-86-94-102-114-124 stitches. Move the start of the round so that it starts mid under the sleeve. Work as follows: Work 4-3-2-1-2-2 stitches as A.2, work A.3 (= 10 stitches) over the next 70-80-90-100-110-120 stitches (= 7-8-9-10-11-12 repeats) and finish with 4-3-2-1-2-2 stitches as A.2. Work and increase according to A.2 and A.3 until there is 1 round left = 141-158-175-192-213-232 stitches. Bind off as described in the diagram (make sure that the bind-off edge is not tight). Work the other sleeve in the same way. |
