Teet aivan oikein, kerroksella kavennetaan 2 silmukkaa.

Miten tuota kuviota luetaan? Apua!!!
23.01.2018 - 18:04DROPS Design answered:
Hei, piirroksen 17 silmukan mallikertaa toistetaan kerroksella, eli työhön tulee 8 piirroksen mallikertaa.

I do not understand how to work the charts whatsoever, it doesn't make sense to me that there's 136 stitches casted on but the pattern is so small. Can someone explain?
28.05.2015 - 07:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tanner, please read more about diagrams here - remember first to check your tension (26 sts x 34 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm/ 4" x 4") - you first cast on 136 sts in first size and work diagram A.1 so that 88 sts remain after diagram has been worked 1 time in height, and you dec 6 sts evenly on next round = 82 sts. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

Jeg er blevet noget forvirret over mønsteret i a3 skal alle vrang maskerne strikkes over hinanden? Eller er der en fejl i mønsteret.
23.02.2014 - 12:59DROPS Design answered:

PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3, diagrams show 1 repetition seen from RS. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 st on each side of first repetition of A.3 as follows - beg 2 sts before A.3: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso, A.3, K 2 tog. HEEL DECREASE: Row 1 (= RS): Work until 6-7-7 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece. Row 2 (= WS): Work until 6-7-7 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece. Row 3 (= RS): Work until 5-6-6 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece. Row 4 (= WS): Work until 5-6-6 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece. Continue dec like this with 1 st less before every dec until there are 14-14-16 sts on needle. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- STOCKING: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 136-136-153 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm / US 1.5 with Fabel. Work according to diagram A.1. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 88-88-99 sts on needle. K 1 round while AT THE SAME TIME dec 6-0-5 sts evenly = 82-88-94 sts. Then work A.2. When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, continue as follows: 19-21-23 sts in stockinette st, A.3 (= mid back), 27-30-33 sts in stockinette st, A.3 (= mid front) and 8-9-10 sts in stockinette st. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 20 cm / 8", dec 1 st on each side of the first repetition of A.3 - READ DECREASE TIP, repeat dec every 2 cm / ¾" 13-14-15 more times (14-15-16 dec in total) = 54-58-62 sts. Continue until piece measures approx 54-56-58 cm / 21¼"-22"-22¾" - make sure to stop after 1 full repetition of A.3. Now keep the first 24-26-28 sts on needle for heel, slip the next 30-32-34 sts on a stitch holder (= mid on top of foot). Work in stockinette st over heel sts for 5-5½-6 cm / 2"-2¼"-2½". Insert 1 marker. Then work HEEL DECREASE - see explanation above. After heel dec, pick up 13-14-16 sts along each side of heel and slip the 30-32-34 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 70-74-82 sts. Insert 1 marker on each side of the 30-32-34 sts on top of foot. Then continue with stockinette st and A.3 on top of foot as before. AT THE SAME TIME dec in each side as follows: K tog the last 2 sts BEFORE first marker on top of foot twisted (i.e. work in the back loop of st instead of front) and K tog the first 2 sts AFTER last marker on top of foot. Repeat dec every other round 8-8-10 more times (9-9-11 dec in total) = 52-56-60 sts. Continue working until piece measures approx. 18-20-22 cm / 7"-8"-8¾" from marker on heel, adjust after 1 whole repetition of A.3 (= approx. 4-4-5 cm / 1½"-1½"-2" remain). Insert 1 marker in each side so that there are 26-28-30 sts both on top of foot and under foot. Continue working stockinette st over all sts while AT THE SAME TIME dec for toe on each side of both markers as follows: Before marker: K 2 tog. After marker: K 2 twisted tog (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front). Dec every other round a total of 5-6-7 times and then every round 5-4-4 times = 12-16-16 sts remain on needle. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Thread a silk ribbon in the round with eyelet holes at the top of stocking and tie a bow. Knit another stocking. |
