I have knitted the first 4 rows and also the row where I insert the two markers. I have never knitted short rows before. Do I complete the rows with the markers and start the short rows on the next row or do I start the short rows on the row that I inserted the markers? I am knitting on 88 sts. as you say it will loosen when worn though I do measure for the 92 sts.
12.04.2015 - 18:51DROPS Design answered:
Dear Susan, to works short rows, work 1 row over the sts to 1st marker, turn and work return row, work 1 row over the sts to 2nd marker, turn and work return row then work 2 row over all sts and repeat these 3 rows - see also video below. Happy knitting!

I am knitting on 85 sts. The measurment from neck edge is 2 7/8 but at the body edge it measures only 6 3/8 and it should be 8 1/8 so what should I do to correct this?
07.06.2014 - 15:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Carol, check your tension, you should get 34 rows garter st = 4" and short rows: 1 repeat= 2 rows at the top (towards neck edge) and 6 rows towards bottom edge. Happy knitting!

Buon lavoro!
