Pouvez vous me dire comment m'y prendre ?

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (worked in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. * knit 1 round and purl 1 round *, repeat from *-*. RIB: * knit 1 / purl 1 *. Repeat from *-*. PATTERN: See diagrams M.1 to M.4. The whole pattern is worked in stockinette stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- Body: Cast on 270-290 (302-318) sts with black on smaller circular needles; join and place a marker at the join. Knit 2 rows garter st, rib for 6 cm [2-⅜"], then 2 rows garter st. Change to larger circular needles and knit 4 rows stockinette st, Pattern 4 once, and then stockinette st with black. Attach a marker at the other side. Front and back each = 135-145 (151-159) sts. When the work measures 32-33 (34-36) cm [12-⅝" - 13" (13-⅜" - 14-⅛")], knit Pattern 1 - start at the appropriate arrow on the chart and knit pattern across the front, start at the arrow again and knit across the back. When the work measures 42-44 (45-48) cm [16.5" - 17.25" (17.75" - 18-⅞")], increase 5 sts at each side (these sts are for the steeks and are not knit into the pattern). After Pattern 1 knit stockinette st again with black. When the work measures 63-65 (67-70) cm [24.75" -25-⅝" (26-⅜" - 27-⅝")], bind off the center front 31-31 (33-33) sts for the neck and knit the rest back and forth on the needles. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times. At the same time, when the work measures 66-68 (70-73) cm [26" - 26.75" (27-⅝" - 28.75")], knit Pattern 2 and at the same time bind off the center back 45-45 (47-47) sts for the neck. Bind off at each back neck edge every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Bind off all sts after Pattern 2 - the work measures approx. 68-70 (72-75) cm [26.75" - 27-⅝" (28.25" - 29.5")]. Sleeves: Cast on 58-62 (62-64) sts on smaller double pointed needles with black; join and place a marker at the join. Knit 2 rows garter st, rib for 6 cm [2-⅜"], then 2 rows garter st. Change to larger double pointed needles and knit 4 rows stockinette st, increasing 1 st on the first row = 59-63 (63-65) sts. After the rib, inc 1 st each side of marker 31-29 (31-30) times every 4th row = 121-121 (125-125) sts. After the 4 rows stockinette st, knit Pattern 4 once, then stockinette st with black again until the sleeve measures 30-30 (30-31) cm [11.75" - 11.75" (11.75" - 12.25")]. Then knit Pattern 3, centering the pattern on the sleeve, with the remaining sts on each row in black. After Pattern 3 is complete, knit stockinette st with black to finished dimensions. When the work measures 51-51 (51-52) cm [20" - 20" (20" - 20.5")], put 4 sts each side of marker on a stitch holder and knit the rest back and forth on the needles. Then put sts on a stitch holder for sleeve caps on each side every other row: 9 sts 4 times. The work measures approx. 54-54 (54-55) cm [21.25" - 21.25" (21.25" - 21-⅝")]. Put the sts from the stitch holder back on the needles and knit 2 cm [0.75"] reverse stockinette st for a seam allowance over the cut edge on the body, bind off. Assembly: Sew a marker thread down into the center of the steek sts on each side. Sew two machine seams around the marker thread, first seam = ½ stitch from the thread, 2nd seam = ½ stitch from the first seam. Cut up for armholes. Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 110-120 sts around the neck on smaller double pointed needles with black; join and knit 2 rows stockinette st, Pattern 2 once, purl 1 row (= folding edge), 9 rows stockinette st, bind off. Fold the neck edge over against the wrong side and sew. Sew the sleeves to the body from the right side as follows: Sew alternately a stitch in the last row of knitting on the sleeve before the seam allowance and a stitch on the body after the machine seam. Turn the sweater inside out and sew the seam allowance from the sleeve over the cut edge on the body by hand. |
