Graag jullie reactie.

Hello again, After joining two front pieces: On the 5th paragraph: ROW 2 (right side): Work 5-5-6-6-7-7 garter stitches, knit 33-37-38-46-52, .... (here there are only 5 sizes instead of 6, can you please answer what the right number for size XL is). Thank you.
15.05.2024 - 18:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Gena, it seems the number of sts for size XL is missing; according to the rest of the row it should be 43 knit stitches there, to get 107 stitches in total. We shall correct the pattern as soon as possible. Happy knitting!

Hello, For the right front piece, size XL, I don't understand the instruction: "Finish after a row from the wrong side". Can you please explain. Thank you.
14.05.2024 - 17:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Gena, it only means that you should finish knitting after a row that you have knitted form the wrong side. Happy Knitting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows, from both the right and wrong side. 1 ridge in height = knit 2 rows. INCREASE TIP: Increase by making 1 yarn over. On the next row purl the yarn over from the wrong side/knit from the right side to leave a hole. The new stitches are then worked in stockinette stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- TOP - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth with circular needle, top down. The front piece is worked in 2 sections until the straps and V-neck are finished, the 2 pieces are joined, then finished back and forth. The back piece is worked in 1 section, back and forth. The straps are sewn onto the back piece and the side seams sewn to finish. RIGHT FRONT PIECE: Cast on 11-11-13-13-15-15 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7 and DROPS Paris. Work 1 strap as follows: ROW 1: Slip 1 stitch purl-wise with strand in front, knit 1, work 7-7-9-9-11-11 GARTER STITCHES – read description above, slip 1 stitch purl-wise with strand in front, knit 1. Repeat this row back and forth for 6-8-10-12-14-16 cm = 2⅜"-3⅛"-4"-4¾"-5½"-6¼" (the strap is later sewn to the back piece). Insert a measuring-marker here. Continue as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Work the first 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches as before (band), knit 1 (stockinette stitch), work the last 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches as before (band). ROW 2 (wrong side): Work 5-5-6-6-7-7 band stitches as before, purl 1 (stockinette stitch), work 5-5-6-6-7-7 band stitches. On the next row start to increase for the armhole and V-neck as follows – read INCREASE TIP: Work the band stitches as before, increase 1 stitch for the armhole, work stockinette stitch until there are 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches left, increase 1 stitch for the V-neck, work the band as before. Continue back and forth, increasing every 2nd row a total of 7-8-10-16-11-8 times on each side = 25-27-33-45-37-31 stitches. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! Continue in the different sizes as follows: SIZES S, M and L: Continue the increases, every 2nd row 8-8-5 more times, but every 2nd increase is only for the V-neck (do not increase for the armhole). A total of 15-16-15 increases for the V-neck and 11-12-13 increases for the armhole = 37-39-41 stitches. The piece measures approx. 13-13-13 cm = 5⅛"-5⅛"-5⅛" from the marker. The increases are finished in sizes S, M and L. Finish after a row from the wrong side. SIZE XL: The increases are finished in size XL = 45 stitches. The piece measures approx.13 cm = 5⅛" from the marker. Finish after a row from the wrong side. SIZES XXL and XXXL: Increase for the V-neck every 2nd row 4-8 more times, at the same time increase every row for the armhole (from both the right and wrong side). A total of 15-16 increases for the V-neck and 19-24 increases for the armhole = 49-55 stitches. The piece measures approx. 13-13 cm = 5⅛"-5⅛" from the marker. The increases are finished in sizes XXL and XXXL. Finish after a row from the wrong side. ALL SIZES: = 37-39-41-45-49-55 stitches. Lay the piece to one side and work the left front piece. LEFT FRONT PIECE: Cast on 11-11-13-13-15-15 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7 and DROPS Paris. Work 1 strap as follows: ROW 1: Slip 1 stitch purl-wise with strand in front, knit 1, work 7-7-9-9-11-11 garter stitches, slip 1 stitch purl-wise with strand in front, knit 1. Repeat this row back and forth for 6-8-10-12-14-16 cm = 2⅜"-3⅛"-4"-4¾"-5½"-6¼" (the strap is later sewn to the back piece). Insert a measuring marker here. Continue as follows: ROW 1 (right side): Work the first 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches as before (band), knit 1 (stockinette), work the last 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches as before (band). ROW 2 (wrong side): Work 5-5-6-6-7-7 band stitches as before, purl 1 (stockinette stitch), work 5-5-6-6-7-7 band stitches. Now the right and left front pieces are joined. Start from the right side on the right front piece, work the band stitches as before, knit until there are 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches left, work 5-5-6-6-7-7 garter stitches, cast on 1 stitch, work the first 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches on the left front piece in garter stitch, knit until there are 5-5-6-6-7-7 stitches left and work these stitches as before = 75-79-83-91-99-111 stitches. Insert 1 marker; the piece is now measured from here. Cast on stitches as follows on each side for the armholes, at the same time as working fewer garter stitches mid-front for the V-neck: ROW 1 (wrong side): Work 5-5-6-6-7-7 band stitches as before, purl 27-29-29-33-35-41, work 11-11-13-13-15-15 garter stitches, purl 27-29-29-33-35-41 and work 5-5-6-6-7-7 garter stitches (band stitches no longer worked). On the next row from the right side increase 9-9-13-15-15-15 stitches evenly over the stockinette stitches = 92-100-110-122-132-144 stitches. Change to circular needle size 3.5 MM = US 4 and work as follows from the wrong side: 5-5-6-6-7-7 garter stitches, rib (purl 2, knit 2) until there are 7-7-8-8-9-9 stitches left, purl 2 and 5-5-6-6-7-7 garter stitches.
