Guten Tag.

Bon tricot!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Choose diagram for your size. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: In this pattern long and short needles have been used, begin with fitting length and switch as needed. Work neck edge and yoke in the round on circular needle from mid back, work top down. When yoke is done, divide stitches for body and sleeves. Work body down wards in the round on circular needle while putting the sleeves aside. Then work sleeves downwards in the round on needle. NECK EDGE: Cast on 108-112-120-126-130-136 stitches on circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5 with DROPS Belle or DROPS Cotton Light. Work rib in the round = knit 1/purl 1 for 4 cm = 1½". Insert 1 marker at beginning of round (mid back), measure yoke from this marker. YOKE: Switch to circular needle size 4 MM = US 6. Knit 1 round while increasing 4-7-6-14-17-18 stitches evenly = 112-119-126-140-147-154 stitches. Then work in stockinette stitch in the round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! When yoke measures 3-3-4-5-6-7 cm = 1⅛"-1⅛"-1½"-2"-2⅜"-2¾" from marker, work PATTERN - read explanation above, i.e. work A.1 16-17-18-20-21-22 times in total in the round on yoke. Continue pattern like this. When A.1 has been worked, there are 336-357-378-420-441-462 stitches on the round and piece measures approx. 18-18-19-21-22-23 cm = 7"-7"-7½"-8¼"-8¾"-9" from marker. Then work in stockinette stitch. AT THE SAME TIME on first round decrease 24-17-14-20-17-2 stitches evenly = 312-340-364-400-424-460 stitches. Work until yoke measures 19-21-22-23-25-27 cm = 7½"-8¼"-8¾"-9"-9¾"-10⅝" from marker. Now divide yoke for body and sleeves as follows: Work 48-53-56-61-66-73 stitches in stockinette stitch (half back piece), slip the next 60-64-70-78-80-84 stitches on a thread for sleeve, cast on 8-8-10-10-12-12 new stitches on row (in the side under sleeve), work 96-106-112-122-132-146 stitches in stockinette stitch (front piece), slip the next 60-64-70-78-80-84 stitches on a thread for sleeve, 8-8-10-10-12-12 new stitches on row (in the side under sleeve) and work the last 48-53-56-61-66-73 stitches in stockinette stitch (half back piece). Finish body and sleeves separately. Now measure piece from here! BODY: = 208-228-244-264-288-316 stitches. Insert 1 marker in one side of piece, in the middle of the 8-8-10-10-12-12 stitches that were cast on under sleeve. Work until marker, round begins here. Work stockinette stitch in the round until piece measures 26-26-26-27-27-27 cm = 10¼"-10¼"-10¼"-10⅝"-10⅝"-10⅝" from division. Knit 1 round while increasing 46-46-50-54-60-64 stitches evenly = 254-274-294-318-348-380 stitches. Switch to circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5. Work rib in the round = knit 1/purl 1 for 4 cm = 1½". Bind off. Sweater measures approx. 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm = 21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼" from shoulder. SLEEVES: Slip the 60-64-70-78-80-84 stitches from thread in one side of piece on double pointed needles/a circular needle size 4 MM = US 6 and pick in addition up 1 stitch in each of the 8-8-10-10-12-12 new stitches cast on under sleeve = 68-72-80-88-92-96 stitches. Insert 1 marker in the middle of the 8-8-10-10-12-12 stitches under sleeve. Begin round at the marker, and work stockinette stitch in the round until sleeve measures 19-17-17-17-15-14 cm = 7½"-6¾"-6¾"-6¾"-6"-5½" from division. 4 cm = 1½" remain until finished measurements. Try the sweater and work to desired length before rib. Knit 1 round while decreasing 10-12-12-14-16-16 stitches evenly = 58-60-68-74-76-80 stitches. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 MM = US 2.5. Work rib in the round = knit 1/purl 1 for 4 cm = 1½". Bind off. Sleeve measures approx. 23-21-21-21-19-18 cm = 9"-8¼"-8¼"-8¼"-7½"-7" from division. |
