How to work an easy picot edge

In this DROPS video we show how to work an easy picot edge. We work back and forth, but you can also work it in the round. Work like this on row 1: * Knit 7 stitches, slip 2nd stitch on right needle over outermost stitch on right needle (over the last stitch worked), pass next stitch on right needle over outermost stitch on right needle (2 stitches decreased = 1 arch) *, work from *-* the entire row. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. You must read a pattern to get the correct number of stitches. You’ll find a pattern with a picot edge like this by clicking on the picture below.

In this DROPS video we show to start working a rolling-edge, like the one in DROPS 230-49 and DROPS 230-50. We have already worked 3 ridges (1 ridge = knit 2 rows) and start the video like this: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, knit 3, * twist the stitches on the right needle 360 degrees as follows: Take the strand to the right side and take the right needle under the piece and up to the right side, knit 6 *, work from *-* until there are 4 stitches left, knit 3 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch.
