How to knit a folded edge in a skirt

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit a folded edge in a skirt. The edge is worked in the round. We work 2 1/2 inches in stockinette, before we fold the cast-on edge to the back and knit the stitches from the needle together with the stitches from the cast-on edge. We leave a hole to thread an elastic through. In the video we knit with DROPS Eskimo. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. Have you tried a purl stitch row in the middle of the band as it should fold easier and look less bulky.
