Finger and Arm knitted neckwarmer

In this DROPS video we show how to finger knit two skeins Big Delight and then we arm knit a neckwarmer out of the new finger knitted skein. Cast on 7 stitches and arms knit 17-19 rows (depending on your gauge / size of your wrist). Bind offoff and sew short sides tog edge to edge, and voila, you have a great neckwarmer.

Felted: Wrist warmers in Snow

Felting is so easy and anyone can do it! In this DROPS video we show how easily you can make wrist warmers that freshens up a sweater / jacket. In this DROPS video we have used Snow color no 42, powder. Finger crochet with two fingers the whole skein and felt it. Divide the strap in half, sew the strap together as shown in the video, make sure they are not too tight. At subsequent washed wash the wrist warmers at a wool program.

Arm knit: Scarf

In this DROPS video we show how arm knit a scarf with tassels. The scarf is super easy to make and with DROPS Cloud it will be feather light and delicious scarf for cold winter days. In this DROPS video we have use 100 g off white (01) and 100 g medium grey (04) in DROPS Cloud. Cast on 8 sts with 4 strands and knitted 35 rows (length 75"/190 cm) and bound off. We have made 16 tassels (1 tassel = 4 strands à 20"/50 cm), folded them double and fasten them to the edges.

Arm knit: Small shawl

In this DROPS video we show how to arm knit a small Christmas shawl with cross and pompoms. Use DROPS Andes from Garnstudio 100 g off white (100) and 200 g Christmas red (3620). Cast on 6 sts with 8 strands in Christmas red, arm knit 15 rows and bind off. Make cords of the strands in the ends, make 6 pompoms and fasten them to the shawl. And you're ready for Christmas!

In this DROPS video we show how to arm knit a blanket. We have use 2 strands off DROPS Polaris and cast on 29 sts. Knit 15-17 rows (depending on your gauge). Bindoff, cut and fasten threads. You have a blanket in no time!

How to sew the tail on the Easter socks in DROPS Extra 0-1421

In this DROPS video we show you how to sew the tail on the Easter socks in DROPS Extra 0-1421. Sew 6 long stitches in the middle and 2 slightly shorter stitches on each side so that the tail is bushy, see the chart for placement. These socks are knitted in DROPS Karisma, the same yarn we use in the video You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow this video properly. Felting: Hot pad whit small balls

Felting is so easy and everyone can do it! In this DROPS video we show how to make a hot pad with small balls in Alaska. Wind the yarn around two fingers, after a couple rounds, remove yarn from fingers and continue winding around the yarn until you have a ball. Keep winding the yarn around and around until you have the size on the ball you want. We show how to make two different sizes, but we make the hot pad with the smallest size. Place the balls in a thin stocking and put it in the washing machine with a detergent without enzymes and optical bleach. Are there many stockings with balls, one can add every single stocking in a laundry bag / new stocking, so not all stockings twirl together. Wash at 40 C/104F with normal spin but no pre-wash. Sew balls together until you have the size you want for the hot pad. The hot pad can be wash later at regular wool wash.

Cob web: How to sew a cob web on a Halloween basket.

In this DROPS video we show how to sew a cob web to the Halloween basket in DROPS Extra 0-1171. COB WEB: Sew on cob web, see diagram A.1. First sew the vertical lines that go around the middle, then sew evenly, beg in first round with dc in green. Then sew the diagonal lines in 3 rounds. Beg the vertical lines with 1 stitch at the beg of round (- see arrow in diagram), sew 1 stitch in the middle of bottom, sew through edge, baste on the back, sew through edge, sew 1 stitch in the middle of bottom etc. the entire round - NOTE: Make sure that to avoid a tight yarn. Then sew the diagonal lines (= 3 round), sew 1 backstitches around each of the vertical lines in the crossing point to fasten the vertical lines. How to crochet eyes to a play mouse

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the eyes to the play mouse in DROPS Extra 0-1506. The eyes are crocheted by long single crochet in a stitch 2 rounds below. Crochet like this: Use Color 1 and work 1 single crochet in each of the first 8 single crochets, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Color 2 and pull this strand through the stitch, change back to Color 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long single crochet), work 1 single crochet in each of the next 6 single crochets with Color 1, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Color 2 and pull the strand through the stitch, change back to Color 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long single crochet), work 1 single crochet in each of the last 8 single crochets = 24 stitches. Fasten the Color 2 strand on the inside (wrong side) of the mouse. This mouse is worked in DROPS Lima, but in this video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to make the face to the Santa jumper in DROPS Children 32-20

In this DROPS video we show how to attach the beard, moustache and how we sew grafting stitches for the eyes in the Santa sweater in DROPS Children 32-20. BEARD: 1 fringe= 1 strand of 45 cm = 17 3/4" using off-white. Cut 18 fringes.Each fringe is fastened above the purled stitch on the neck of the Santa. Fold the fringe double, thread the loop around the stitch, then thread the strand-ends through the loop and tighten. Fasten a similar fringe in each of the 17 remaining stitches over the purled stitch. Then tie a loose knot using all the strands; tie the knot approx. in the middle of the strands. Trim the beard to the required length. MOUSTACHE: 1 fringe= 1 strand of 7 cm = 2 3/4" using off-white. Cut 8 fringes. Fold the fringes double and thread the loop around a stitch beneath a purled stitch on the face of Santa, then thread the strand-ends through the loop and tighten. Fasten a similar fringe beneath each of the purled stitches. Trim the moustache to the required length. EYES: Using a left-over of black, sew grafting stitches over 3 stitches and sew 1 stitch across the next stitch towards the middle. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
