Crochet: Decorative stripes to «Union Jack»

Decorate the flag with sl st worked through head band at the end as follows: Insert hook through piece in edge st on corner on one of the blue sections, get the red yarn from the under side and pull it through work, skip one st. * Insert hook through piece, get the yarn from the under side and pull it up and through st on hook *, repeat from *-* diagonally until the red cross. How to crochet a flower square

In this DROPS video we show how to work the whole flower square in DROPS 125-3. This square is also use in other DROPS pattern. Ch 8 with hook size 3.5 mm/E/4 and Kid-Silk and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: ch 3 (= 1 dc), * ch 2, 1 dc in ring *, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times and finish with ch 2 and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (= 8 dc on round with ch 2 between each). How to crochet the square in DROPS 238-12

Cellphone cozy crochet

Measure half the phone's circumference. Work one ch-row that can be stretched to this size (with a light pull). This is the no of stitches needed for the bag. ROW 1: Turn piece, ch 1, work 1 sc in each ch around the ch-row, work from both sides of the ch-row and now the no of sts has doubled. Work in the round, 1 sc in each sc, until wanted height – finish with one sl st in first sc of last round.

Crochet: Beautiful flower with 3D effect

Ch 10 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, in ch-ring work 23 sc and finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round. ROUND 2: 4 ch, * 9 ch (= ch-sp), skip 2 sc, 1 tr in 3th sc *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Ch 9 and end with 1 sl st in 4th ch from the beg of round = 8 ch-sps. Now work back and forth around each ch-sp and tr. ROW 1: 12 sc around the first ch-sp, 6 sc down and around tr and finish with 1 sc in the tr, turn piece. ROW 2: 1 ch, skip 1st sc, 1 sc in each of next 3 sc, 1 hdc in next sc, 2 dc next sc and 1 dc and 1 tr in next sc. Now work in the back loop like this: * 2 tr in the same sc, 1 tr in next sc *, repeat *-* 2 more times. 2 tr in same sc, 1 tr and 1 dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, 1 hdc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc and finish with 1 sl st in the last st, turn piece. ROW 3: 1 ch, skip the first st, work 1 sc in each of the next 25 sts. Fold piece to the right and turn piece upside down (leaves towards you), work 1 sc in the 2nd sc from the 2nd row. Turn piece. FLOWER PETALS: * ch 3, crochet around the 1st tr in tr-group from previous round as follows: ** 9 dc, but wait with last pull through = 10 sts on needle, 1 YO and pull through last st, 1 YO and pull through the two next st, 1 YO and pull through the next two sts, continue like this until you have 1 st left on needle **. ch 3, 1 sl st in 3rd ch from hook. Crochet around 2nd tr in tr-group from previous round in the same way, crochet ** - **. 1 sl st around the 3 ch at start of row and 1 sl st around the top of tr-group from 2nd row. Crochet 6 sc around ch space and finish with 1 sl st in the next tr group *. Repeat from *-* 5 times, but in the last flower finish with a 1 sl st in 1st ch on round = 6 flower petals.

Crochet: Hexagon African Flower

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a hexagon african flower. Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch – wih COLOR 1. In this DROPS video we show how we work a Calla flower. We work it in DROPS Snow, but the small Calla in the video are worket in Safran, crochet hook size. 3, color no. 18, 11 and 31, and it weighs about 10 gr and measures 27 cm / 10½''. Color 1: Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Round 1: ch 1, 8 sc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round. Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in each of the next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of the next 2 sc, 2 hdc in each of the next 3 sc. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st hdc on round. Round 3: ch 2, * 1 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 2 dc in each of the next 4 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, finish with 1 sl in 1st hdc on round. Work 1 round with sc in every sc the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in the 1st sc on the round. Cut the thread, but leave enough thread to sew up the piece. Bend the piece double and sew together *. Cut and fasten threads. Color 3: Work 45 ch. Work *-* (optionally: place a wire inside). Cut and fasten threads. Sew flower stalk and the stem in the flower leaf.

Crochet: Summer bracelet with flower

In this DROPS video we show how to create a super simple, but beautiful bracelet with flower. We work the bracelet in DROPS Snow, but we have used DROPS Belle, crochet hook size 3.5mm and buttons in sizes 15 mm on the other bracelets in the video. BRACELET: Crochet 14 ch, continue with 29 ch looser, turn the piece, 1 sl st in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each of the next 26 sts, 1 sl st in next st, turn piece, skip 1 st and crochet 1 sl st, 1 sc in each of the next sc the entire row, finish with 1 sl st in last st. Crochet 14 ch, cut and tighten the thread (if desirable tie a knot). FLOWER: Crochet 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 6 sc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. ROUND 2: 1 ch, in every sc the entire round work: 1 sc, 3 ch, in 3rd ch from hook work 1 hdc and 1 dc. Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round = 6 leaves. Cut and fasten threads. Attach a button to the flower and sew the flower in bracelet. The bracelet measures 11½" (29 cm) (without tie bands 5½" (14 cm)) and weighs about 2 grams (without button).

Crochet: Large decorate flower to summer slippers

Puff Stitch Flower

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a crochet puff stitch flower. This little flower is easy and fast to make and perfect for decoration. Work as follows: Crochet 4 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch and work 11 dc in ch-ring (= 12 st). Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch. ROUND 2: **work 2 ch, *yo, insert hook in same st as ch2, pull through*, repeat *-* 2 more times = 7 st on hook (when pulling through, have your yo’s loosely match your ch2). Yo and insert hook in your next st, pull thread through and repeat 2 more times = total of 13 st on your hook. Make a final yo and pull through all st on hook. Ch 2 and make 1 sl st in next st. ** Repeat **-** 5 more times = 6 puff stitches / petals on flower. Fasten off.

How to crochet flowers and attach the strap in DROPS 187-3

In this DROPS video we show you how to work the flowers and how to work and attach the strap to the Juanita bag in DROPS 187-3. We have already worked some parts of the bag (we use a smaller number of stitches and different colours than what is listed in the pattern) and the video begins with 2 treble crochets being worked together in one stitch (oval shaped icon with 2 small lines in the 2nd row in diagram A.1), then work according to diagram A.2 into the treble crochets worked together. Then we show you some parts of the 3rd row in diagram, where we work 1 treble crochet around the last chain stitch from A.2. The strap is completed and we show you how to attach one of the strap to the bag using treble crochets. We also show you how to complete the flowers from A.2 according to diagram A.3. After that we work the loose flowers according to diagram A.4 and how to attach the loose flower to the bag and strap. This bag is worked in DROPS Paris, but we use a thicker yarn in the video; DROPS Snow. You must also read the pattern and look at the diagrams in addition to watching the video.
