06.11.2016 - 22:01DROPS Design answered:
Alta näet miten lasket korvaavan langan menekin: Malliin tarvitaan 300g langasta X. Langan X juoksevuus on 170m per 50g, eli tarvitset 6 kerää (lankaa X) x 170 m = 1020 m. Haluat käyttää lankaa Y. Tämän langan juoksevuus on 150m per 50g. 1020m / 150m = 6.8 = tarvitset 7 kerää langasta Y, jotta metrimäärä olisi sama kuin langassa X. Esim koossa S tähän malliin tarvitaan 5 kertaa Brushed Alpaca Silk -lankaa.

Bon tricot!

I would like to make this sweater with yarn that I already have. I need to do the large size, which says 450 grams. How much yardage would that be? I am using a worsted weight yarn, that I plan to double to make it a bulky weight yarn similar to your cloud yarn (2.25 sts. to an inch. Could you please tell me how much yardage of a bulky weight yarn I would need to make it in large size. Thank you so much!

Dear Mrs Pederson you will find all informations about Cloud under its shadecard - click here for more informations about alternative yarns. Happy knitting!
