The armhole stitch reduction does not make sense to me , constantly reducing stitches at the rate stated , means the sleeve will not measure 41 cm . It does state how many stitches should be left on needle before final cast off
17.06.2021 - 01:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sharon, the istructions do state the number of stitches left for the shoulders 8after finishing the armhole decreases: Back: "Cast off 1 st on neckline on next row = 15-16-16-17-17-18 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm.", front: "15-16-16-17-17-18 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm." If you are meaning the sleeves, and you have less rows than needed, first check your gauge. Then you might try tp cast off 1 stitch instead of the two in the last part ("until the piece reaches 41 cm"). Happy Stitching!

23.09.2019 - 12:20DROPS Design answered:
Buongiorno Alessandra. Sì esatto, il primo ferro viene lavorato a rovescio. Buon lavoro!

Vorrei sapere quanti punti misurano i pezzi davanti dove sono i bottoni . Grazie
04.04.2019 - 11:00DROPS Design answered:
Buongiorno Tiziana. Buon lavoro!

I would like to substitute the melody yarn for the symphony and notice the yardage is double. Meaning I only need half the amount. Is this correct?? Confused please help.
20.02.2018 - 18:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sherwin, that's right, Symphony was 70 m for 50 g while Melody is 140 m for 50 g. Try our yarn converter to calculate new amount of yarn you need in your size. Happy knitting!

The beginning says stockinette stitch 1st row is the Wrong side...does this mean I start with a purl row, or are there 4 rows of "reverse stockinette stitch" as the band and then switch to regular?
02.02.2017 - 17:07DROPS Design answered:
Dear Annette, you are working first 4 rows in stocking st starting with P on 1st row (from WS) then K on 2nd row (RS), P on 3rd row and K on 4th row, then work 1 row K from WS and continue in stocking st: K from RS (on next row) and P from WS. Happy knitting!
