I don’t understand how to dcreese to shape the sleeve cap, and how to finish up the sleeve
01.04.2024 - 04:54DROPS Design answered:
Hi Julia, The sleeve cap is decreased equally on both sides, so it is symmetrical. When you reach the sleeve-length described in the text, cast off 3 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows (3 stitches on each side), then 2 stitches on each side x 3 (6 rows), and 1 stitch 0-1-0-2-3-5 times. If you have a zero in your size here, do not cast off . Continue casting off 2 stitches on each side until the sleeve measures the correct length, then 3 sts on each side. Cast off the remaining stitches. Hope this helps and happy knitting!

Also, i need to cast off 2 more sts for armhole shapping, yet?! How am i gonna do that if i work short rows? Sorry if i sound weird cause this is my first knitting work:)
16.01.2018 - 16:30DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Aslanalp, you will cast off for the armhole at the beg of row from RS, and at the same time, work the short row for neck at the beg of row from WS - see previous answer. Happy knitting!

Hello, i need help, please! in left front piece it says: At the same time when piece measures 48-49-50-51-52-53 cm [19’’-19.2’’-19.7’’-20’’- 20½’’-21’’] work 2 rows back and forth on front band sts only (do not work remaining sts). Does it mean to work short rows? I am in the RS now and front band is the end of this row, so, do i have to knit to the front band and work short rows?
16.01.2018 - 16:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Aslanalp, for the left front piece, start the short rows from WS, ie from WS work the front band sts only, turn and work return row, then continue as before over all sts. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
