Bon tricot!

I am very knew to knitting. I am great at crocheting but decided to try my hand at knitting. So in this particular pattern where it says "Cast on 86-96-108-120-133 sts on needle size 3 mm with 1 thread Cotton Viscose", does this mean that I only use 1 STRAND of the yarn? Or if it says "using 3 threads" does that means I use only 3 STRANDS of the yarn?, etc.

Dear Liz, you are right, if pattern says "with 1 thread Cotton Viscose", you have to use only 1 strand of this yarn. When you read "with 2 threads Cotton Viscose" for the neck, you have to work with 2 strands of yarn. Happy Knitting !

I made this out of the blue Cotton Viscose and it was beautiful and the drape was wonderful!! The shine on this yarn really gives it something extra. Love this pattern!
