Enig i, at det havde været dejligt at se afslutningen - er det en almindelig rib? Dét kunne godt afgøre sagen for mig. Men ellers meget smuk.

Knitting Gauge: 17 sts x 22 rows on needle size 5 mm = US 8 with double thread in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm = 4" x 4" Rib: *K3, P3*, repeat from *-*. Pattern: See diagram M.1. The diagram is seen from the right side. Front piece: Loosely cast on 86-92-98-110-122 sts (incl 1 edge st each side, knitted in garter sts throughout) on needle size 4.5 mm = US 7 with 2 threads Alpaca (double thread). Knit 2 rows garter sts and continue in Rib with 1 edge st each side. When Rib measures 6 cm = 2⅜" change to needle size 5 mm = US 8. Now knit 1 row from the RS, knit 1 row from the WS, and knit 1 row from the RS, at the same time on the last row inc evenly on row to 99-107-115-125-135 sts. Knit the following row as follows from the WS: 1 edge st, 15-19-23-28-33 sts in stockinette st (purl), M.1 (= 67 sts), 15-19-23-28-33 sts in stockinette sts (purl), 1 edge st. Continue pattern like this (knitting sts in stockinette sts from the RS. When piece measures 44-45-45-46-47 cm = 17¼"-17¾"-17¾"-18"-18½" dec 3-4-5-7-9 sts each side for armhole. No more dec are made for the armhole, but inc are made for a wider shoulder. Continue in pattern, at the same time after 2-3-4-5-6 cm = ¾"-1⅛"-1½"-2"-2⅜" inc 1 st each side on every 2-2-2-3-4 cm = ¾"-¾"-¾"-1⅛"-1½" a total of 7-6-5-4-3 times = 107-111-115-119-123 sts (knit new sts in stockinette sts). At the same time when piece measures 56-58-60-61-63 cm = 22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24"-24¾" put the middle 21-21-23-23-23 sts on thread for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 4 times. After all inc and dec are complete = 34-36-37-39-41 sts left on each shoulder. When piece measures 62-64-66-68-70 cm = 24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾"-27½" knit the 8 sts over the cable tog 2 by 2 = 30-32-33-35-37 sts left on shoulder. Bind off remaining sts on next row. Back piece: Cast on and knit Rib as described for front piece. Change to needle size 5 mm = US 8 and knit as follows: knit 1 row form the RS, knit 1 row from the WS, knit 1 row from the RS and continue in stockinette sts to finished measurements. At the same time on the first row in stockinette sts dec evenly on row to 80-88-96-106-116 sts. Bind off for armhole and inc for shoulder as described for front piece = 88-92-96-100-104 sts. When piece measures 60-62-64-66-68 cm = 23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾" cast of the middle 26-26-28-28-28 sts for neck and bind off 1 st on neckline on next row = 30-32-33-35-37 sts left on each shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 62-64-66-68-70 cm = 24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾"-27½" (adjust to length of front piece). Sleeves: Cast on 50-50-56-56-56 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 4.5 mm = US 7 with double thread Alpaca. Knit 2 rows garter sts and continue in Rib with 1 edge st each side. When sleeve measures 11 cm = 4⅜", change to needle size 5 mm = US 8, knit 1 row from the RS whilst dec evenly on row to 46-48-50-52-54 sts. Knit 1 row from the WS and finish the sleeve in stockinette sts. When sleeve measures 14 cm = 6¼" inc 1 st each side on every 4-4-3-3-2.5 cm = 1½"-1½"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1" a total of 9-9-12-12-14 times = 64-66-74-76-82 sts. Bind off all sts when sleeve measures 49 cm = 19¼". Assembly: Join shoulders. Neck: Pick up approx 70 to 90 sts (incl sts on thread) round the neck on small circular needle size 4.5 mm = US 7 with double thread Alpaca. Purl 1 round, knit 1 round whilst adjusting number of sts to 84-92-98-104-110 on second round. Now continue in Rib.
