Pattern: See diagram M.1. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS. Work each rose with a separate ball, or alternatively embroider the roses on with duplicate stitches afterwards. Edge: 3 cm = 1⅛" stockinette st, work next row like this from RS: *knit 2 together, YO*, repeat from *-* (folding edge, measure piece from here), 3 cm = 1⅛" stockinette st. Back piece: Cast on 98-102 sts on needle size 2.5 mm = US 1,5 with off-white and work Edge. Change to needle size 4 mm = US 6 and continue in stockinette st, at the same time inc 16-20 sts evenly on first row = 114-122 sts. When piece measures 12-13 cm = 4¾"-5⅛" work next row as follows: 17-18 off-white sts, * M.1, 16-18 of-white sts *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, M.1, 17-18 off-white sts. Sleeve: Cast on 46-48 sts on needle size 2.5 mm = US 1,5 with off-white and work Edge. Change to needle size 4 mm = US 6 and continue in stockinette st, at the same time inc 10-10 sts evenly on first row = 56-58 sts. At the same time inc 1 st each side on every 3rd row a total of 33-33 times = 122-124 sts. At the same time when piece measures 6-7 cm = 2⅜"-2¾" work M.1 in the center of sleeve and then continue in off-white. When piece measures 22-23 cm = 8¾"-9" work the middle 32-34 sts as follows: M.1, 16-18 off-white sts, M.1. After M.1 continue in off-white until piece measures 38-39 cm = 15"-15¼". Now work the middle 56-60 sts as follows: M.1, 16-18 off-white sts, M.1, 16-18 off-white sts, M.1. After M.1 complete piece in off-white. When piece measures 47-48 cm = 18½"-19" bind off each side to shape the sleeve cap on every other row: 6 sts 2 times, 4 sts 4 times, 10 sts 2 times. Bind off remaining sts, piece measures approx 53-54 cm = 21"-21¼". Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 106 sts along left front piece on needle size 2.5 mm = US 1,5 and work Edge, bind off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm = ⅜" make 6 buttonholes evenly distributed. 1 buttonhole = bind off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Fold all edges double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves and sew side and sleeve seams. Sew on buttons. TOP: Size: S/M – M/L Finished measurements: Chest measurements: 108 (114) cm = 42½" (45") Full length: 44 (47) cm = 17¼" (18½") All measurements in charts are in cm. Front piece: Cast on 85-95 sts on needle size 4 mm = US 6 with off-white and work stockinette st. Inc 1 st each side on every * 4th and 5th * row alternately for size S/M and on every 6th row for size M/L a total of 11-9 times = 107-113 sts. At the same time when piece measures 8 cm = 3⅛" work pattern diagram on the middle 35 sts. After the pattern complete piece in off-white. When piece measures 21-22 cm = 8¼"-8¾" bind off 3 sts each side for armhole and dec to shape the armhole on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times and then 1 st 3 times on every 4th row = 81-87 sts. When piece measures 33-36 cm = 13"-14¼" bind off the middle 25-29 sts for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 4 times, and then 1 st 1 time on every 4th row . Bind off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 44-47 cm = 17¼"-18½". Back piece: Cast on and work like front piece but without pattern. Bind off the middle 25-29 sts for neck when piece measures 38-41 cm = 15"-16⅛" and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 4 times.
