Mark) zunehmen. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RAGLAN: Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over, which is worked as follows on the next round: BEFORE RAGLAN-STITCH: Slip the yarn over off the left needle and replace it the other way round (insert the needle from the back when replacing it). Knit the front loop to avoid a hole. Then work the new stitch in stockinette stitch. AFTER RAGLAN-STITCH: Knit the back loop to avoid a hole. Then work the new stitch in stockinette stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down and from the right back shoulder. When the yoke is finished, it is divided for the body and sleeves and the body continued in the round, while the sleeves wait. The sleeves are worked top down, in the round. NECK: Cast on 96-100-104-108-116-120 stitches with circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5, 1 strand DROPS Flora and 1 strand DROPS Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Knit 1 round. Work 4 rounds of rib (knit 1, purl 1). Work stockinette stitch for 1½ cm = ½". The round begins on the back right shoulder. Insert 1 marker after the first 33-34-35-36-38-39 stitches (approx. mid-front); the piece is now measured from here. YOKE: Insert 4 markers, without working the stitches, inserting the markers into stitches, which are now called raglan-stitches and always worked in stockinette stitch. Insert marker-1 in the first stitch, count 19 stitches (= sleeve), Insert marker-2 in the next stitch. count 27-29-31-33-37-39 stitches (= front piece), Insert marker-3 in the next stitch. count 19 stitches (= sleeve), Insert marker-4 in the next stitch. There are 27-29-31-33-37-39 stitches left after the last marker (= back piece). Change to circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7. Increase for RAGLAN – read description above, as follows: ROUND 1: Work stockinette stitch and increase for raglan on each side of each raglan-stitch (= 8 increased stitches). ROUND 2. Stockinette stitch - remember to work the yarn overs as described under RAGLAN. Work ROUNDS 1 and 2 a total of 3-3-8-9-8-7 times (= 6-6-16-18-16-14 worked rounds) = 120-124-168-180-180-176 stitches. Remember to maintain the knitting gauge. Now increase for raglan as follows: ROUND 1: Work stockinette stitch and increase for raglan on each side of each raglan-stitch (= 8 increased stitches). ROUND 2. Work stockinette stitch - ROUND 3: Work stockinette stitch and increase for raglan only on the front and back pieces, i.e., after markers 2 and 4 and before markers 3 and 1 – do not increase across the sleeves (= 4 increased stitches). ROUND 4: Work stockinette stitch. Work ROUNDS 1 to 4 a total of 11-12-10-11-13-15 times (= 44-48-40-44-52-60 worked rounds = you have increased 11-12-10-11-13-15 times on sleeves and 22-24-20-22-26-30 times on the front and back pieces) = 252-268-288-312-336-356 stitches. All increases for raglan are finished: A total of 25-27-28-31-34-37 times on the front and back pieces and 14-15-18-20-21-22 times on sleeves. Continue with stockinette stitch without increasing until the yoke measures 21-23-24-27-29-32 cm = 8¼"-9"-9½"-10⅝"-11⅜"-12½" from the marker mid-front. Now divide for the body and sleeves. DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: Knit the first stitch (belongs to the back piece), place the next 47-49-55-59-61-63 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (under sleeve), knit 79-85-89-97-107-115 (= front piece), place the next 47-49-55-59-61-63 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (under sleeve), knit the last 78-84-88-96-106-114 stitches (a total of 79-85-89-97-107-115 stitches on the back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. BODY: = 178-194-206-226-250-270 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch in the round until the piece measures 42-44-46-48-50-52 cm = 16½"-17¼"-18"-19"-19¾"-20½" from the marker mid-front. Change to circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) and increase 18-20-20-22-26-28 stitches evenly on the first round = 196-214-226-248-276-298 stitches. When the rib measures 3 cm = 1⅛", bind off. The sweater measures approx. 45-47-49-51-53-55 cm = 17¾"-18½"-19¼"-20"-21"-21⅝" from the marker mid-front and 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝" from top of shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 47-49-55-59-61-63 sleeve-stitches from 1 thread on circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7. Knit up 1 stitch in each of the 10-12-14-16-18-20 cast-on stitches under the sleeve = 57-61-69-75-79-83 stitches. Work stockinette stitch in the round for 19-18-19-16-16-13 cm = 7½"-7"-7½"-6¼"-6¼"-5⅛". Change to double pointed needles size 3 MM = US 2.5 and work 4 rounds of rib (knit 1, purl 1), AT THE SAME TIME increasing 7-7-7-7-7-7 stitches evenly on round 1 = 64-68-76-82-86-90 stitches. Knit 1 round. Bind off with knit. |
