Hva mens med at det står Legg opp 40-44-44-48-48-52-60 masker på settpinner 3,5 med DROPS Fiesta. Strikk vrangbord rundt (= 2 rett / 2 vrang) i 8-9-11-13-15-16-17 cm.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- HEEL DECREASES: ROW 1 (= right side): Knit until there are 6-8-7-7-6-6-9 stitches left, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, turn. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Purl until there are 6-8-7-7-6-6-9 stitches left, slip 1 stitch purl-wise, purl 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the purled stitch, turn. ROW 3 (= right side): Knit until there are 5-7-6-6-5-5-8 stitches left, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, turn. ROW 4 (= wrong side): Purl until there are 5-7-6-6-5-5-8 stitches left, slip 1 stitch purl-wise, purl 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the purled stitch, turn. Continue to decrease like this, working until there is 1 stitch less each time before slipping a stitch and until there are 8-8-10-10-12-12-14 stitches left. DECREASE TIP: Start 3 stitches before the marker, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SOCKS – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles, top down. LEG: Cast on 40-44-44-48-48-52-60 stitches with double pointed needles size 3,5 MM = US 4 and DROPS Fiesta. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 8-9-11-13-15-16-17 cm = 3⅛"-3½"-4⅜"-5⅛"-6"-6¼"-6¾". Now work stockinette stitch and rib as follows: 2 stockinette stitches (belong to heel), continue the rib (starting and ending with purl 2) across the next 22-22-22-26-26-30-30 stitches, work stockinette stitch to end of round. Continue this pattern until the leg measures 9-10-12-14-16-17-18 cm = 3½"-4"-4¾"-5½"-6¼"-6¾"-7". Remember to maintain the knitting gauge. Now work heel and foot. HEEL AND FOOT: Work 2 stockinette stitches, continue the rib across the next 22-22-22-26-26-30-30 stitches and place these stitches on a thread (top of foot), work stockinette stitch to end of round = 18-22-22-22-22-22-30 heel-stitches. Continue stockinette stitch back and forth across the heel-stitches for 5-5-5½-5½-6-6-6½ cm = 2"-2"-2⅛"-2⅛"-2⅜"-2⅜"-2½". Insert 1 marker in the middle of the last row – the foot is measured from here. Work HEEL DECREASES – read description above. After the heel decreases, work as follows: Stockinette stitch across the 8-8-10-10-12-12-14 heel-stitches, knit up 11-11-12-12-13-13-14 stitches along one side of the heel, continue the rib across the 22-22-22-26-26-30-30 stitches from the thread and knit up 11-11-12-12-13-13-14 stitches along the other side of the heel = 52-52-56-60-64-68-72 stitches. Work to mid-under heel. The round now begins here. Insert 1 marker on each side of the 22-22-22-26-26-30-30 stitches on top of the foot. Continue with stockinette stitch under the foot and rib on top of the foot. Decrease on each side as follows: Knit together the last 2 stitches before the first marker and knit twisted together the first 2 stitches after the second marker. Decrease like this every round a total of 6-6-6-6-5-5-5 times, then every 2nd round 4-3-3-4-6-6-6 times = 32-34-38-40-42-46-50 stitches. Continue working until the foot measures 11-13-13½-15-17-18-20 cm = 4⅜"-5⅛"-5⅜"-6"-6¾"-7"-8" from the heel-marker measured under the foot. Finish the sock working stockinette stitch in the round until the foot measures 12-14-14½-16-18-19½-21 cm = 4¾"-5½"-5¾"-6¼"-7"-7⅝"-8¼". There is 3-3-3½-4-4-4½-5 cm = 1⅛"-1⅛"-1¼"-1½"-1½"-1⅝"-2" left to finished length; try the sock on and work to desired length before decreasing for the toe. TOE: Insert 1 marker in each side with 16-16-18-20-20-22-24 stitches on top of the foot and 16-18-20-20-22-24-26 stitches under the foot. Work stockinette stitch. AT THE SAME TIME on the first round, decrease on each side of both markers – read DECREASE TIP (= 4 stitches decreased). Decrease like this every 2nd round a total of 3-3-4-4-4-5-5 times, then every round 3-3-3-4-4-4-5 times = 8-10-10-8-10-10-10 stitches. Cut the strand, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The foot measures approx. 15-17-18-20-22-24-26 cm = 6"-6¾"-7"-8"-8¾"-9½"-10¼" from the heel-marker, measured under the foot. |
