I see the type of yarn required for this pattern, but not the amount of yarn needed. How many of the white skeins are needed for the medium /large pattern.?
24.05.2023 - 17:21DROPS Design answered:
Hi Pauline, The yarn amounts are given in the line below the yarn quality at the top of the pattern. For sizes M/L you need 250 g Drops Paris. Paris comes in 50 g skeins which means you need 5 skeins. Happy knitting!

I'm afraid I am none the wiser. The schematic has numbers on it, but no units, so I have no idea what those numbers represent. Are they inches, cm? If you add together the lowest number for the two fronts and the back you get 144, but the lowest number under Finished Measurements is 120. I have never seen a British pattern like this so I have absolutely no idea what it is measuring. 120 cm, all round, is huge, 120" unthinkable, so can you tell me what you are adding up to get 120 please?
17.10.2021 - 18:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary, the numbers in the schematics are always in cm and they give the finished measurements of the garment. For size S, the bust size would be 120 cm. It's quite big because it's an ample cardigan. Happy knitting!

17.10.2021 - 06:01DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary, finished measurements mean, the measurements of the finished piece , that you can see on the schematic drawing below the pattern, and there you will also find, what number is referring to what measurements. Happy Stitching!
