Dear Mrs PK Ang, work under body in rib as stated, and work rib K3/P3 under sleeves when it says to work rib. The right side of front piece you start with is the one on the right side when you are wearing the jumper, ie it starts towards the split at mid front. Happy knitting!

Hola Mercedes, cada fila de cuadritos se corresponde con 1 fila, no vuelta. (una vta serían 2 filas) M.3 se trabaja: la parte central en pt jersey (derecho por el LD y revés por el LR) y los 4 pts a cada lado se trabajan en pt jersey revés(revés por el LD y derecho por el LR)

When the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm bind off the center 24-24-24-26-26 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 19-19-20-21-22 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 54-56-58-60-62 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 68-74-74-80-80 sts on smaller needles and knit rib, keeping 1 edge st at each side in garter st. When the piece measures 5 cm dec all K 3 to K 2 = 57-62-62-67-67 sts. When the piece measures 12 cm dec all P 3 to P 2 = 46-50-50-54-54 sts. Continue with K 2 , P 2 until the piece measures 19 cm. Change to larger needles and stockinette st. When the piece measures 20-20-20-21-21 cm inc 1 st at each side every 4.5-5-3.5-3-2 cm a total of 7-6-8-8-11 times = 60-62-66-70-76 sts. When the piece measures 50-49-47-46-44 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 3 times and 1 st 1-2-4-5-7 times, then 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 56-57-57-57-57 cm, then bind off 3 sts at each side 1 time. Bind off. The piece measures approx. 57-58-58-58-58 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Neckband: Pick up approx. 70-80 sts around the neck (incl. sts from st holder) on smaller short circular needles; join and place a marker at the join. P 1 row, K 1 row, P 1 row, then K and bind off all sts on the next row. Sew in sleeves using edge sts as a seam allowance. Sew in sleeves and sew sleeve and side seams using edge sts as a seam allowance. |
