The translations for the Diagrams for all Garnstudio patterns are included within the text of the Pattern itself. If you look you will find lines starting with an = sign. These are the translations, and they are given in the same vertical order as the chart symbols within the diagram. For further help please contact your closest DROPS dealer.

Wish the charts would be changed to English too would make it easier to read with out having to print it out and rewrite the instructions after translating.

Rigtig god, klædelig model, ikke svær at strikke. Jeres billede kunne godt være mere illustrerende.

Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]. Pattern: See charts. The pattern is seen from the right side. The charts for Patterns 3, 4 and 5 show the entire pattern and have arrows indicating the starting points for different sizes. «Str S = Size S»; «Str M = Size M»; «Str L = Size L». Remember that «m» means «sts». Rib: * P 2, K 2 *, repeat from * - *. Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows. Garter st, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl.* Repeat from * - *. Body: Cast on 212-248-276 sts; join and place a marker at the join. Knit Pattern 1 for approx. 6 cm [2⅜"], centering marker between two K sts – this marks the left side (as the garment is worn). Then establish rib pattern as follows from the marker: 29-33-37 sts rib - the P sts and the K sts follow those in Pattern 1, the 2 following sts knit the cable as in Pattern 1, 50-58-66 sts rib, the next 2 sts knit the cable as in Pattern 1, 29-33-37 sts rib, put a marker (right side), 100-120-132 sts rib. Continue in pattern as established. When the piece measures approx. 26-27-28 cm [10.25" - 10⅝" - 11"] knit Pattern 2 over the 12 sts at center front, knit the remaining sts in rib as established. After 4 rows of Pattern 2 knit 4 rows garter st over 18 sts at each side (9 sts each side of each marker). Knit the next row as follows from 1st marker: bind off 4 sts, knit Pattern 3 for first half of bodice (52-60-68 sts - start at appropriate arrow on the chart), knit Pattern 3 for 2nd half of bodice (52-60-68 sts - start at appropriate arrow on the chart), bind off 8 sts, Pattern 4 (29-33-37 sts - start at appropriate arrow on the chart), 34-46-50 sts rib, Pattern 5 (29-33-37 sts - start at appropriate arrow on the chart), bind off 4 sts. Knit each side separately. Front: = 104-120-136 sts. Divide piece at center front and knit each half of bodice separately following Pattern 3. After Pattern 3 is complete the piece measures approx. 40-43-47 cm [15.75" - 16⅞" - 18.5"]. Knit garter st over the 6 remaining sts until band measures approx. 22-20-16 cm [8⅝" - 7⅞" - 6.25"] (or desired length), bind off. Back: = 92-112-124 sts. Knit back as established in Patterns 4 and 5 until patterns are complete. The piece measures approx. 38-42-45 cm [14⅞" - 16.5" - 17.75"], bind off in pattern. Sew bands to each side on back. |
