PULLOVER: Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette = 10 x 10 cm Rib-1: * K 2, P 3 *, repeat from * - *. Rib-2: * K 2, P 5 *, repeat from * - *. Pattern: See chart. The pattern is seen from the right side. Knitting tips (for armhole decs): All decs are made from right side. Dec at armhole edge inside of 4 sts knit as follows from edge: K 2 (edge sts knit in garter st), 2 sts stockinette st. Dec 1 st as follows: After 4 sts: P 2 tog. Before 4 sts: P 2 tog through back loops. Crocheted ruffle edge: Row 1: 1 sc, * ch 5, skip over 2 sts/rows, 1 sc in the next st *, repeat from * - *. Row 2: 1 sc in first ch-loop, * ch 3, 1 sc in the same ch-loop, ch 4, 1 sc in the next ch-loop *, repeat from * - *. Body: Cast on 240-260-280-300 sts on circular needles with Alpaca; join and knit Rib-1. There will be K 2 at center front, center back and at each side - put 1 marker at each side. When the piece measures 24 cm knit Pattern 1 over 12 sts at center front, the remaining sts continue in Rib-1. When the piece measures 36-37-38-39 cm bind off 14 sts at each side for armhole (that is to say 7 sts each side of each marker). Knit each piece separately. Front: = 106-116-126-136 sts. Continue the pattern - at the same time dec 1 st at each side for armhole every other row 5-10-15-20 times - see knitting tips = 96 sts. When the piece measures 50-52-54-56 cm put the center 28 sts on a st holder for collar. Then bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 6 times = 26 sts remain on shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 56-58-60-62 cm. Back: = 106-116-126-136 sts. Bind off for armhole as on front = 96 sts. When the piece measures 54-56-58-60 cm bind off the center 40 sts for the neck. Then dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 2 times. Bind off the remaining 26 sts on shoulder when the piece measures 56-58-60-62 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 84-84-91-91 sts on double-pointed needles with Alpaca; join and place a marker at the join. Knit Rib-2 – establish rib so there is 1 K st each side of the marker. When the piece measures 5 cm dec all P 5 to P 4 = 72-72-78-78 sts. When the piece measures 10 cm dec all P 4 to P 3 = 60-60-65-65 sts. Continue in rib. When the piece measures 12 cm inc 1 st each side of the marker (make incs outside the K st next to marker) every 4 rows a total of 20 times = 100-100-105-105 sts - knit the increased sts in the rib as you go along. When sleeve measures 38 cm knit stockinette st over all sts to finished measurements - at the same time inc 9-9-10-10 sts evenly distributed over the center 45-45-50-50 sts of sleeve = 109-109-115-115 sts. When sleeve measures 48-47-46-45 cm bind off 5 sts each side of marker and knit back and forth on needles. Now bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times, then dec 1 st at each side until sleeve measures 58-59-60-61 cm, and then bind off 2 sts at each side until sleeve measures 60-61-62-63 cm. Bind off the remaining sts. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 120 to 140 sts (divisible by 5, incl. sts on st holder) around the neck on double-pointed needles with Alpaca. Knit Rib-1, following rib from below Pattern 1 at center front and center back. When the collar measures 10 cm bind off all sts in rib. Crocheted edge: Crochet with Cotton Viscose around the collar, cables at center front and lower edge of the sleeves. Crochet per instructions above. Start crochet at center back on the neck from wrong side, crochet to cables at center front, down along cables in 1st K st at side of cables, continue down under cables, up the other side and to center back. Crochet the same way (from wrong side) around the lower edge of sleeve. Sew in sleeves. Make a small puff at top of sleeve by gathering the extra width into 6-8 cm at the shoulder. SCARF: Length: approx. 130 cm [51-⅛"] Width: approx. 15 cm [5-⅞"] Materials: DROPS ULL-FLAMÉ (discontinued) (alternative SNOW from Garnstudio) 100 gr nr 01, natural. and use: DROPS COTTON-VISCOSE from Garnstudio 50 gr nr 02, natural. DROPS 10 mm [US 15] needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge. Gauge: 10 sts with 1 strand Ull-Flamé and 1 strand Cotton Viscose in garter st = 10 cm. Scarf: Cast on 15 sts with 1 strand each Ull-Flamé and Cotton Viscose. Knit garter st until scarf is approx. 130 cm or as long as desired. Bind off. |
