When piece measures 39-40-41-42-43-44 cm / 15¼"-15¾"-16⅛"-16½"-17"-17¼" bind off for armhole each side at the beg of every row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2-3-4-5-8-10 times and 1 st 1-2-3-4-4-4 times = 58-60-62-64-64-66 sts. When piece measures 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm / 22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26" bind off the middle 26-28-28-30-30-32 sts for neck and complete each shoulder separately. Bind off 1 st on neckline on next row = 15-15-16-16-16-16 sts left on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm / 22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾". LEFT FRONT PIECE: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 38-42-46-50-56-61 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work 6 rows seed st. Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 and continue in stockinette st. When piece measures 8 cm / 3⅛" dec at the side as described for back piece = 34-38-42-46-52-57 sts. When piece measures 24 cm / 9½" inc at the side as described for back piece = 38-42-46-50-56-61 sts. When piece measures 39-40-41-42-43-44 cm / 15¼"-15¾"-16⅛"-16½"-17"-17¼" bind off for armhole at the side as described for back piece. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 47-49-50-52-53-55 cm / 18½"-19¼"-19¾"-20½"-21"-21⅝" bind off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 10 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2-2-2-3-3-3 times and 1 st 0-1-1-0-0-1 time = 16-16-17-17-17-17 sts left on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm / 22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26"-26¾". RIGHT FRONT PIECE: Like left front piece, but mirrored. SHORT PUFF SLEEVE: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 52-54-56-58-58-60 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work seed st. When piece measures 3 cm / 1⅛" change to circular needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 and work next row from RS as follows: stockinette st on 22-23-24-24-24-25 sts, * 1 YO, work 2 sts in next st as follows: 1 st in front of loop, 1 st in back of loop *, repeat from *-* a total of 8-8-8-10-10-10 times, work stockinette st on the remaining sts = 68-70-72-78-78-80 sts. On next row P YO into back of loop to avoid a hole. Continue in stockinette st on all sts. When piece measures 9 cm / 3½" for all sizes bind off 4 sts each side for sleeve cap and when piece measures 12-12-14-12-12-14 cm / 4¾"-4¾"-5½"-4¾"-4¾"-5½" bind off 2 sts 1 time each side by K3 tog. Repeat this dec on every 3-3-3-3-4-4 cm / 1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½"-1½" a total of 3-3-3-4-4-4 times = 48-50-52-54-54-56 sts. When piece measures 21-22-24-24-27-29 cm / 8¼"-8¾"-9½"-9½"-10⅝"-11⅜" dec on next row from RS as follows: work 3-4-5-6-6-7 stockinette sts, K3 tog a total of 14 times across the row, and work remaining sts in stockinette st = 20-22-24-26-26-28 sts. Bind off. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams inside 1 edge st. LEFT FRONT BAND: Pick up 86-100 sts inside 1 edge st along left front piece on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work seed st back and forth on needle. Bind off when front band measures 3 cm / 1⅛". RIGHT FRONT BAND: Like left front band. NOTE! Remember BUTTONHOLES – see above! NECKLINE: Pick up 91-105 sts round neckline and on front bands on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work 6 rows seed st back and forth on needle. Bind off. Sew on buttons. |
