On the yoke, should I be knitting garter stitch over all stitches or continuing the 10 sts for the front bands in moss stitch? I'm not sure how that will work with the decreases in the yoke. Also does decrease to the right and left of the markers alternately mean on one row decrease only to the right and on the next row decrease only to the left?

Hi Karen I don't really understand what you mean is wrong here.... If you have for example 224 sts and dec 4 sts 6 times, you end up with 200 sts just as it sais in the pattern.

I have read this pattern and believe that the math is incorrect for the decs in the body. You are to dec 4 times (I think MT means to place a marker)once before and once after each of 2 markers 6 times. I get that as 24 total decs. The pattern says it's only 4 decs. Am I right on this?
