Wat is het alternatief voor het garen, want ik zie dat highlander uit de collectie is. Liefst in turqois of een andere sprekend blauw.

JUMPER Knitting gauge: 10 sts x 16 rows on needles size 8 mm / US 11 in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm / 4" x 4". Garter sts (back and forth on needle): Knit all rows. Rib: *K1, P2*, repeat from *-*. Front piece: Cast on 40-40-44 (48-52-52) sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 7 mm / US 10½ with Highlander. Work in Rib with 1 edge st in garter st and P2 each side (seen from the right side). When Rib measures 4-4-4 (5-5-5) cm / 1½"-1½"-1½" (2"-2"-2") change to needle size 8 mm / US 11 and continue in stockinette sts, but work the middle 14-14-14 (14-18-18) sts in reverse stockinette sts until finished measurements. At the same time, on the first row after the Rib inc 1 st on each side of the middle 14-14-14 (14-18-18) sts in size 5/6 and 13/14 (do not inc in the other sizes) = 40-42-44 (48-52-54) sts. Remember your knitting gauge! When piece measures 25-27-29 (31-32-33) cm / 9¾"-10⅝"-11⅜" (12¼"-12½"-13") bind off for armholes in beg of every row, each side as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 0-0-0 (1-2-2) times and 1 st 2-2-3 (2-2-2) times = 30-32-32 (34-34-36) sts. When piece measures 35-38-41 (43-44-46) cm / 13¾"-15"-16⅛" (17"-17¼"-18") bind off the middle 4-6-6 (8-8-10) sts for neck and work each shoulder separately. Continue and now bind off to shape the neckline in beg of every row from neck as follows: 2 sts 1 times and 1 st 2 times = 9 sts left on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 40-43-46 (49-51-53) cm / 15¾"-17"-18" (19¼"-20"-21"). Back piece: Cast on and work as front piece, but begin and finish the Rib with 1 edge st in garter st and K2 (seen from the right side). After rib continue in stockinette sts over all sts until finished measurements. Inc in size 5/6 and 13/14 as for front piece. Bind off for armholes as described for front piece and continue until piece measures 38-41-44 (47-49-51) cm / 15"-16⅛"-17¼" (18½"-19¼"-20"). Now bind off the middle 10-12-12 (14-16-16) sts for neck and work each shoulder separately. On next row dec 1 st on neckline = 9 sts left on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 40-43-46 (49-51-53) cm / 15¾"-17"-18" (19¼"-20"-21"). Sleeves: Cast on 22-22-22 (26-26-26) sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 7 mm / US 10½ with Highlander and work 4-4-4 (5-5-5) cm/ 1½"-1½"-1½" (2"-2"-2") in Rib with 1 edge st each side in garter st. Change to needle size 8 mm / US 11 and continue in stockinette sts. At the same time when sleeve measures 6 cm / 2⅜" inc 1 st each side, repeat inc on every 6-5.5-5 (7-6-6) cm / 2⅜"-2¼"-2" (2¾"-2⅜"-2⅜") a total of 4-5-6 (5-6-7) times = 33-32-34 (36-38-40) sts. When sleeve measures 26-30-33 (36-39-44) cm / 10¼"-11¾"-13" (14¼"-15¼"-17¼"), bind off for sleeve cap in beg of every row, each side as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1-1-1 (2-4-4) times and 2 sts each side until sleeve measures 31-35-39 (43-48-53) cm / 12¼"-13¾"-15¼" (17"-19"-21"). Now bind off 3 sts each side 1 time and bind off remaining sts on next row. Sleeve measures approx 32-36-40 (44-49-54) cm / 12½"-14¼"-15¾" (17¼"-19¼"-21¼"). Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Neck: Pick up approx 36 to 48 sts (divisible by 4) around the neck on double pointed needles size 7 mm / US 10½ and Highlander. Work 5 rows in Rib and then bind off. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams within 1 edge st. _______________________________________________________________________ HAT: Gauge: Before felting: 16 sts x 20 rows on needles size 5.5 mm / US 9 with Alaska in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm / 4" x 4". After felting: approx 21 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4" x 4". Stripes: Work stripes as follows: 20 cm / 8" dark brown Alaska, 7 cm / 2¾" Highlander, 5 cm / 2" brown Alaska, 3 cm / 1⅛" dark brown Alaska, 3 cm / 1⅛" Highlander, 10 cm / 4" gray-blue Alaska, 5 cm / 2" brown Alaska, 5 cm / 2" Highlander and finish the hat in gray-blue Alaska. Felting: Felt the hat at 40°C/ 104F in the washing machine with 1 tbls of powder. Shape and leave to dry flat. Hat: Loosely cast on 99-108-117 sts on double pointed needles size 5.5 mm / US 9 with 2 strands dark brown Alaska. Remove 1 strand and work stripes as described above. Remember your knitting gauge. At the same time when the hat measures 27-28-29 cm / 10⅝"-11"-11½" insert 9 markers with 11-12-13 sts between each marker. Dec 1 st on the right side of all markers by K2 tog. Repeat the dec on every 6th round a total of 5 times = 54-63-72 sts. Then dec 5 sts evenly on round on every 6th round until there are 14-18-22 sts left. K5 rounds and then K2 tog around. Cut the yarn and pull it through remaining sts. Sew tightly. The hat measures approx 66-70-74 cm / 26"-27½"-29". Felt the hat in the washing machine. After felting fold up the bottom 5 cm / 2". The hat now measures approx 35-37-39 cm / 13¾"-14½"-15¼" from folding edge to the top. AFTER FELTING: If the piece is not felted enough and is too big: Wash the piece one more time in the washing machine while it is still wet add a terry towel that measures approx. 50 x 70 cm = 19¾" x 27½" - NOTE: Do not use a short program. If the piece has been felted too much and is too small: While the piece is still wet stretch it to the correct measurements, if the piece is dry, make sure to soak it first. Remember: All subsequent washes are as a normal wool garment. |
