Leggendo proprio l’inizio dello schema “avviare 100 maglie […]. Lavorare 1 ferro rovescio dal rovescio del lavoro. È il primissimo ferro quindi? Come faccio a lavorarlo dal rovescio? Grazie mille in anticipo

Buonasera Marta, Dopo aver avviato le maglie deve semplicemente girare il lavoro e lavorare a rovescio. Buon lavoro!

Could you tell me how much positive ease there is in this oversized sweater please? Thank you😊

Dear Mrs Ball, just decide your own positive ease and your size by measuring a similar garment you have and like the shape and compare them to the measurements in the chart. Read more here. Happy knitting!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows. DECREASE TIP (applies to neck): All decreases are done from the right side! DECREASE AT END OF ROW: Work until 4 stitches remain on row, knit 2 stitches together, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. DECREASE AT BEGINNING OF ROW: Work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, knit 1, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked, work the rest of row as before. INCREASE TIP (applies to sleeves): All increases are done from the right side. Work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, knit 1, make 1 yarn over, knit until 2 stitches remain, make 1 yarn over, knit 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. On next row purl yarns over twisted. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Piece is worked back and forth in parts, bottom up and sewn together when finished. Pick up stitches for neck edge and work in the round on a short circular needle. BACK PIECE: Cast on 100-108-112-124-132-144 stitches on circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7 with 1 strand of each quality (2 strands). Purl 1 row from wrong side. Then work as follows from right side: 1 edge stitch in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above - * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* until 3 stitches remain, knit 2, 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When rib measures 5 cm = 2", switch to circular needle size 5.5 MM = US 9. Knit 1 row from right side and decrease 8-10-8-12-10-12 stitches evenly = 92-98-104-112-122-132 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! When piece measures 32-33-34-35-36-37 cm = 12½"-13"-13⅜"-13¾"-14¼"-14½", bind off 2-3-5-7-8-10 stitches for armholes at the beginning of the next 2 rows = 88-92-94-98-106-112 stitches. Continue with stockinette stitch and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side. When piece measures 49-51-53-55-57-59 cm = 19¼"-20"-21"-21⅝"-22½"-23¼", bind off the middle 24-24-26-26-28-28 stitches for neck and finish each shoulder separately = 32-34-34-36-39-42 stitches remain on each shoulder. Decrease 1 stitch for neck on every row from right side - read DECREASE TIP, 2 times in total = 30-32-32-34-37-40 stitches remain on shoulder. Work in stockinette stitch with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side until piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜". Bind off. Work the other shoulder the same way. FRONT PIECE: Work as back piece until piece measures 44-46-46-48-48-50 cm = 17¼"-18"-18"-19"-19"-19¾" = 88-92-94-98-106-112 stitches. Now slip the middle 18-18-18-18-20-20 stitches on a thread for neck and finish each shoulder separately = 35-37-38-40-43-46 stitches remain on each shoulder. Decrease 1 stitch for neck on every row from right side 5-5-6-6-6-6 times in total = 30-32-32-34-37-40 stitches remain on shoulder. Work in stockinette stitch with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side until piece measures 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm = 20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜". Bind off. Work the other shoulder the same way. SLEEVE: Cast on 54-54-54-58-58-62 stitches on circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7 with 1 strand of each quality (2 strands). Purl 1 row from wrong side. Then work as follows from right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from*-* until 1 stitch remains, 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. When rib measures 10 cm = 4", switch to circular needle size 5.5 MM = US 9. Knit 1 row from right side and decrease 4-4-2-4-4-6 stitches evenly = 50-50-52-54-54-56 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side. When piece measures 13-13-13-11-11-11 cm = 5⅛"-5⅛"-5⅛"-4⅜"-4⅜"-4⅜", increase 1 stitch in each side – read INCREASE TIP! Increase like this every 4½-3-3-3-2½-2 cm = 1⅝"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1"-¾" 8-10-10-11-12-13 times in total = 66-70-72-76-78-82 stitches. Continue to work until sleeve measures 46-45-44-43-41-39 cm = 18"-17¾"-17¼"-17"-16⅛"-15¼". Insert 1 marker in each side of sleeve - markers mark where bottom of armhole starts. Continue to work until sleeve measures 47-47-47-47-46-45 cm = 18½"-18½"-18½"-18½"-18"-17¾". Bind off. Knit another sleeve the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder seams inside bind-off edge. Sew in sleeves and sew bottom of armhole - markers inserted on sleeves should fit sides of body- see chart. Sew underarm and side seams in one inside 1 edge stitch. NECK EDGE: Pick up from right side approx. 72 to 92 stitches (including stitches on thread) on a short circular needle size 4.5 MM = US 7 with 1 strand of each quality. Number of stitches must be divisible by 4. Work rib (knit 2/purl 2). Bind off when rib measures 4 cm = 1½". |
