Hello I want to knit this beautiful neck warmer for my Grand-daughter. I have one question about "increase before each knitted section" AND "increase after each knitted section." I am not understanding what this means in the pattern. Could you please explain in more detail. thank you.

Dear Kim, since it's a rib pattern, we can divide the stitches in knit sections (where you only knit) and purl sections (where you only purl). In knit 2, purl 2 each knit 2 can be called a knit section and each purl 2 a purl section. This means that, when you increase before/ after each knit section, you will increase before/ after the "knit 2". So first you increase 1 stitch after each "knit 2", so you get knit 2, purl 3 in the next round. Then you increase before each knit section (not in the same place as before, to space out the increases) to get a knit 2, purl 4 rib. Continue like this, each time adding more purl stitches between the "knit 2" stitches. Happy knitting!

Altså 1 kast - 2 rett - 3 vrang - 1 kast - 2 rett- 3 vrang osv. Fortsett økningene slik det står i oppskrften. mvh DROPS Design
