Braid horizontal 2-colored

aka Lateral braid, aka Estonian Vikkel braid Working a horizontal braid creates a line of horizontally-aligned knit stitches. You can do single or multicolored Vikkel braid. This video is showing a multicolored braid. Start by casting on a new stitch before the first stitch. *Knit with col 1 into the back of the 2nd stitch. Then knit with col 2 into the 1st stitch. Drop both stitches off the left needle. Slip the first stitch on right needle back onto the left needle, knit with col 2 into the back of the 2nd stitch. Then knit with col 1 into the 1st stitch. Drop both stitches off the left needle. Slip the first stitch on right needle back onto the left needle *. Repeat *-* until last st on row. K last st, and pass next to last st over.

How to knit a cable with two-colored English rib

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a cable with two-colored English rib in the cloth used in DROPS 189-14. We show the row with cable, next row is row 5 and we use less stitches that it says in the pattern, so remember to read the patter to get the correct stitch numbers. This cloth is knitted in DROPS Cotton Light, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. How to knit the open cable for the jumper in DROPS 176-4

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit the open cable for the jumper in DROPS 176-4. In the video we knit like this: 5 stockinette stitches, 8 stitches purl, 6 stitches (which is increased to 12), 8 stitches purl, 5 stockinette stitches. This jumper is knitted in DROPS Alpaca and DROPS Kid-Silk, but in the video we use DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. How to knit a head band with a cable mid front.

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a head band with a cable mid front. We have already cast on an x number of stitches and we knit 2, purl 2 (=rib) with 1 edge stich in each side in garter stitch (= Knit the stitch from both the right and wrong side). Work until stated measurement in the pattern, divide the piece in the middle. Work rib as before with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side (until stated measurement in the pattern). Then work the second half in the same way. Place the stitches from the first half back on the needle, but change places with the second half so that the two halves are plaited mid front. Continue with rib and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch in each side until stated measurement. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Sew the head band together mid back, sewing each and every stitch on the cast-off-edge together with each and every stitch on the cast-on-edge. Make sure that the seam is not tight. Cut and fasten the strand. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. How to knit the head band in DROPS Extra 0-1320

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit the Alanna headband after chart A.1 and A.2 in DROPS Extra 0-1320. We knit the charts with 2 stitches in garter stitch in each side and we show the charts one time in height. We fast forward in the easier sections, and at the end we show how the pattern looks after knitted the chart A.2 two times in height. This head band are made in DROPS Air, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly.
