How to knit the cable in DROPS 181-19

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit the cable after chart A.1to the sleeve to the «After the rain» jumper in DROPS 181-19 This jumper is knitted in DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to knit the neck edge to the jumper in DROPS 187-14

In this DROPS video we show how to knit the neck edge after chart A.4 in the Adele jumper in DROPS 187-14. We have already worked 2 ridges, 1 knitted round and 3 rounds from the chart A.4. We start on round 4 in the chart = round with knit 2 together and 1 yarn over (on next row knit yarn over to make a hole). When 7th round in diagram has been worked, knit 1 round before it cast off like this: Cast off by knitting but for every 4th stitch make 1 yarn over. Cast off yarn over as stitch. Fold at eyelet row in A.4 so that hem is on the inside of garment. Sew cast-off edge in the top ridge. This jumper is knitted in DROPS Belle, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to work the picot edge in DROPS 187-13

In this DROPS video we show how to work the picot edge after chart A.4 that is used in the jacket in DROPS 187-13. We start the video by working the 1st row of the chart and work 3 rows in stockinette stitch with 1 stitch worked in garter stitch in each side. This garments are worked in DROPS Belle, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You MUST read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow this video properly. Lace pattern consists of yarn overs and decreases only.

This beautiful lace pattern consists of yarn overs and decreases only. To easily be able to see the pattern we have chosen to work two reports in width with 1 edge st each side, and we have already worked three repeats of the chart in height. We show and work 4 rows following the chart. It's a good idea to also follow the pattern text when working this chart. Enjoy! How to work the false English rib variation in A.2 in DROPS Extra 0-1112 and 0-1113

How to start the jumper in DROPS 183-13

In this DROPS video we show how we cast on and increase (YO/hole) to the back of the Snowman jumper in DROPS 183-13. We cast on a much smaller number of stitches than it says in the pattern and knit a mini back piece. Purl from the WS (= the 1st row) and we start with inc / hole pattern on 2nd row. When we have finished the increase to the raglan, we show how to cast on 1 new stitch for armholes at the end of the next 2 rows. We use DROPS Snow in the video, the same yarn used in the pattern.
