Dear Isabelle, are you working pattern 190-22? This video is about making the bracelet, not the 2 coloured band. You start with a chain stitch ring in off white and continue working according to A.2; you work 3 rows in off white and then you start the stripes: one row in off white and one row in shocking pink. In the photo of the hat, you can see a striped band, with off white and shocking pink. Once you have 90cm of the band, you tie a knot in each end. Happy crochetting!
