----------------------------------------------------------

JUMPER:
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle up to the armhole, then work the front and back pieces separately, back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles/ short circular needle.

BODY:
Cast on 200-212-224-236-252-272 stitches with circular needle SIZE 5.5 mm/US 9 / US 9 and Alaska. Work rib (= knit 2 /purl 2) for 4 cm / 1½''. Change to circular needle size 6 mm / US 10.

Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round. Work as follows: ** 6-9-12-15-19-24 stitches in SEED STITCH – see description above, A.1 (= 24 stitches), * 8 stitches in seed stitch, A.1 over the next 24 stitches *, work from *-* a total of 2 times, 6-9-12-15-19-24 stitches in seed stitch ** (= front piece), insert 1 marker, work from **-** over the stitches on the back piece. Continue pattern in this way. REMEMBER THE GAUGE!
When the piece measures 41-42-43-44-45-46 cm / 16 1/8''-16½''-17''-17¼''-17¾''-18'' divide the piece at the markers. Front and back pieces are worked back and forth separately.

BACK PIECE:
= 100-106-112-118-126-136 stitches. Cast on 6-5-3-1-1-1 stitches for the sleeve (i.e. wider shoulders) at the end of the next 2 rows = 112-116-118-120-128-138 stitches. The new stitches are worked in seed stitch, the other stitches are worked pattern as before. When the piece measures 19-20-21-22-23-24 cm / 7½''-8''-8¼''-8¾''-9''-9½'' from where you cast on stitches for the sleeve (the piece has a total length of 60-62-64-66-68-70 cm / / 23 5/8''-24 3/8''-25¼''-26''-26¾''-27½''), place the middle 32-32-34-34-36-36 stitches on a thread for the neck and each shoulder is finished separately (= 40-42-42-43-46-51 stitches on the shoulder). Continue with pattern as before and bind off 1 stitch on the next row from the neck = 39-41-41-42-45-50 stitches. Continue working until the piece measures a total of 62-64-66-68-70-72 cm / 24 3/8''-25¼''-26''-26¾''-27½''-28 3/8''. Bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way.

FRONT PIECE:
Work as for back piece until the piece measures 13-14-13-14-13-14 cm / 5"-5½"-5"-5½"-5"-5½" from where you cast on new stitches for the sleeve (the piece has a total length of 54-56-56-58-58-60 cm / 21 1/4"-22"22"-22 3/4"-22 3/4"-23½"). Place the middle 16-16-18-18-20-20 stitches on a thread for the neck and each shoulder is finished separately (= 48-50-50-51-54-59 stitches on the shoulder).
Continue by binding off for the neck at the beginning of each row from the neck as follows: bind off 3 stitches a total of 1 time and 2 stitches a total of 3 times = 39-41-41-42-45-50 stitches. Continue working until the piece measures a total of 62-64-66-68-70-72 cm / 24 3/8''-25¼''-26''-26¾''-27½''-28 3/8''. Bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way.

SLEEVE:
The sleeves are worked in the round with double pointed needles, you can change to a short circular needle as the number of stitches increases. Cast on 40-40-44-44-48-48 stitches with double pointed needles SIZE 5.5 mm/US 9 / US 9 and Alaska. Work rib (= knit 2 / purl 2) for 3 cm / 1''. Change to double pointed needles size 6 mm / US 10.
Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round. Work as follows: 8-8-10-10-12-12 stitches in seed stitch, A.1 over the next 24 stitches, 8-8-10-10-12-12 stitches in seed stitch. Continue pattern in this way. When the piece measures 6-6-8-6-6-8 cm / 2½"-2½"-3"-2½"-2½"-3" increase 1 stitch on each side of the marker – read INCREASE TIP. Increase in this way every 3-2½-2½-2½-2½-2 cm / 1 1/8"-7/8"-7/8"-7/8"-7/8"-3/4" a total of 13-15-14-16-15-16 times = 66-70-72-76-78-80 stitches.

Heather 06.07.2017 - 18:40:

Ignore my question...I read it as Alpaca NOT Alaska...my goodness!!!!!!! Silly me.........

Heather 06.07.2017 - 17:51:

I assume this is worked in 2 strands of alpaca at once? It doesn't say in the pattern, unless I am not seeing it?

Gogo 03.07.2017 - 09:19:

Der ideale Pullover für Büro, Stadt und Freizeit. Einfach bequem. Super.

Gabriela 01.07.2017 - 05:19:

Kuscheltiel dich strick ich nach ... Du bist mein!

Donna Eastwood 18.06.2017 - 21:21:

I love this pattern. It is large and bulky. Nice for snuggling under at a football game. How can I get to where all the catalogs are? I can only find a few!

Karin 16.06.2017 - 23:28:

Seed stitch, cables, oversize, drop shoulder, big statement sleeves, that Hygge feel of snuggly home comfort--this sums up so many trends of AW 2017 in one sweater. I'd prefer mine light as (DROPS) Air, rather than Alaska, but they're fortunately both Group C yarns.

Nicole 09.06.2017 - 21:50:

Auch dieses Modell mein Wunsch, um meine wunderbare Hundewolle in ein einzigartiges Kleidungsstück zu verwandeln

Nadine 09.06.2017 - 08:43:
