Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS and the entire pattern is worked in stocking st.
Erme = sleeve
Strikk 2.5 cm = work 2.5 cm

Rib: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*.

Body: The jumper is worked in the round on circular needle and cut for armholes afterwards. Numbers in ( ) refer to men’s sizes. Cast on 140-150 (150-160) sts on circular needle size 3 mm with green and work 6 cm rib. Change to circular needle size 5.5 mm and continue in pattern, at the same time inc 20-26 (18-24) sts evenly on first round = 160-176 (168-184) sts. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 27-29 (32-34) cm inc 5 sts each side (to be cut for armhole afterwards and not included in pattern). When piece measures 54-56 (59-61) cm cast off the middle 26-26 (24-24) sts on front piece for neck and continue back and forth on needle. Cast off towards mid front to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 57-59 (62-64) cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 36-38 (40-40) sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with green and work 6 cm rib. Change to double pointed needles size 5.5 mm and continue in pattern, at the same time inc 9-7 (1-3) sts evenly on first round = 45-45 (41-43) sts. At the same time after the rib, inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 20-20 (22-21) times on every * 3rd and 4th round * alternately = 85-85 (85-85) sts. When piece measures 50-48 (54-52) cm work 4 rounds in reverse stocking st (for sewing sleeve to body piece). Cast off.

Assembly: Insert a marking thread in the middle of the inc sts for armhole. Sew 2 seams on a sewing machine around the marking thread, 1st seam = ½ st from the MT, 2nd seam = ½ st from the 1st seam. Cut for armholes. Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 80 sts round the neck on needle size 3 mm with green and work 2.5 cm rib, cast off. Set in sleeves as follows: sew the last row in stocking st on sleeves to row after machine seam on armhole. Turn jumper inside out and fasten piece in reverse stocking st on sleeve to body piece. Fold edges double towards Ws and fasten.

All measurements in charts are in cm.
