Good evening. When I calculate the bind off for the arms for the back panel I get a remainder of 52 stitches but in the pattern for the medium size it states that I should end up with 54 stitches. What am I doing wrong. Thanks.

Dear Valarie, in Size M you have 88 sts and bind off on each side: 3 sts 2 times + 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 5 times and 1 st 2 times = (6+4+5+2) = 17 sts are bound off on each side - 88-34=54 sts. Happy knitting!

The US directions say size 1 or size 6 needles. Which one? Are there different size needles for different sections of the sweater? Which do i begin casting on with?
26.12.2019 - 18:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary Ann, with the size 1 needle you work with DROPS Tynn Chenille, while with size 6 you work with Cotton Chenille. You choose which quality you want to work with and choose the right needles for the yarn. Both of them are discontinued right now. Happy knitting!
