DROPS 65-17 |
|
CARDIGAN: Gauge: 12 sts x 16 rows with 1 thread Vamp or 2 threads Big Delight in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]. Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows. Tip for decreasing: Dec at the side inside 1 edge st. Dec 1 st by K 2 tog. Tip for increasing: Inc for the collar inside 1 edge st by knitting 2 sts in 1 st. «Backwards»: Crochet with 2 strands of Muskat with crochet hook size 4.5. «Backwards» = crochet double crochets in the opposite direction from the right side, that is to say, from left to right. Right Front: Cast on 40-44-48 sts with 1 thread Vamp or 2 threads Big Delight. Knit 2 rows of garter st, continue with stockinette st, but keep 1 st at each side in garter st throughout. When the work measures 10-10-10 cm [4"], dec 1 st at the side - see Tip for binding off - 4 times every 12-13-14 cm. When the work measures 47-51-55 cm, inc 1 st at the center front for the collar - see the Knitting tip - 11-12-13 times alternately every 3rd and 4th row. At the same time, when the work measures 58-63-67 cm, bind off for armholes at the side every other row: 2 sts 1-2-4 times, 1 st 4-5-4 times. After increasing for the collar and binding off for armholes is complete, there are 41-43-45 sts on the needles. When the work measures 74-79-84 cm, bind off 16-18-19 sts at the center front for the neck. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times = 18-18-19 sts remain on the shoulder. Bind off when the work measures 80-85-90 cm. Left Front: Cast on and knit as for the right front, but reverse all shaping. Back: Cast on 72-80-88 sts with Vamp. Knit 2 rows garter st, continue with stockinette st, but keep 1 edge st at each side in garter st throughout. When the work measures 10 cm [4"], dec 1 st at each side 4 times every 12-13-14 cm = 64-72-80 sts. When the work measures 58-63-67 cm, bind off for armholes at each side as on the front = 52-54-56 sts. When the work measures 78-83-88 cm, bind off the center 14-16-16 sts for the neck. Bind off 1 st at each neck edge on the next row = 18-18-19 sts remain on the shoulder. Bind off when the work measures 80-85-90 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 38-40-40 sts with 1 thread Vamp or 2 threads Big Delight. Knit 2 rows garter st, continue with stockinette st. When the work measures 10-10-10 cm [4"], place a marker - measure the work from here (these 10 cm [4"] = cuff). Continue in stockinette st. When the work measures 10-10-10 cm [4"], inc 1 st at each side 7-6-7 times every 5-5.5-4.5 cm = 52-52-54 sts. When the work measures 47-45-43 cm (from the marker), bind off at each side for sleeve cap every other row: 3 sts 2-1-1 times, 2 sts 1-6-7 times, 3 sts 2-1-1 times. Bind off; the sleeve measures approx. 54-55-55 cm. Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 75-85 sts around the neck - including over the fold-up edge at the front - with 1 thread Vamp or 2 threads Big Delight. Knit 2 rows garter st, bind off. Sew in the sleeves and sew sleeve- and side seam in one inside 1 edge st - sew the lower 10-10-10 cm [4"] on the sleeves together so that the seam is not visible when this part is folded over. Crochet «Backwards» - see instructions above - around the lower edge of the body, up along the front, around the neck and around the bottom of the sleeves. TOP IN MUSKAT AND COTTON VISCOSE: Sizes: Small/Medium - Medium/Large - Extra Large Materials: Garnstudio MUSKAT 200-200-200 g col. no. 61, light beige. and use: Garnstudio COTTON-VISCOSE, 150-150-200 g col. no. 17, light beige. DROPS Circular needles sizes 4.5 and 5.5, Crochet hook size 4. Gauge: 16 sts x 20 rows on needles size 5.5 and stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]. Garter st, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl.* Repeat from * - *. Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows. Knitting tip! All binding off takes place on the right side of the work. Bind off inside 2 edge sts - knit the outermost as garter st and the second in stockinette st. Bind off as follows: After 2 edge sts: K 2 tog. Before 2 edge sts: lift 1 st off the needles, K 1, pull the lifted st over. Body: Cast on 144-156-168 sts on circular needles size 4.5 with 1 strand Muskat and 1 strand Cotton Viscose. Knit 2 rows of garter st, switch to circular needles size 5.5 and continue with stockinette st. When the work measures 31-32-33 cm, knit the next row as follows: P 12-16-18, K 60-62-66, P 12-16-18, K 60-62-66. Knit the next row as follows: K 2, bind off 8-12-14 sts, K 64-66-70, bind off 8-12-14 sts, K 62-64-68. Knit the rest of the back and front separately. Front: = 64-66-70 sts. Now bind off 1 st for armholes at each side every other row - see Knitting tip - 12-12-13 times = 40-42-44 sts. Knit 2 rows of garter st over all sts, bind off. Back: = 64-66-70 sts. Knit the rest as for the front. Assembly: Crochet with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Cotton Viscose and crochet hook size 4. Strap: From the next-to-outermost st of garter st at each side of the front, crochet 1 row of slip sts approx. 18-20-20 cm in length. Cut the strand; the strap should not yet be crocheted onto the back piece. Now crochet double crochets uppermost along the top as follows: start directly under the sleeve on the left side, continue up along the left side of the strap and down again on the right side of the strap, continue by crocheting along the neck opening at the front, around the right strap, around the right armhole and along the neck opening at the back. Fasten with 1 slip st («chain st») at the starting point. Adjust the shoulder straps by trying on the garment before sewing them onto each side of the back piece. Crochet 1 row of double crochets in the lowermost row on the casting-on border. |
