Bonjour Mme Trotet, "sans joindre à la fin des tours" signifie que vous continuez en rond, 1 ms dans chaque ms sans faire de mc (mettez un marqueur dans la 1ère m du tour et faites le suivre au fur et à mesure). Au tour 23, on crochète seulement sur les 12 premières ms, puis on diminue en sautant 1 m jusqu'au rang 29 (= 4 ms), et à partir du rang 30, on augm. le nbe de ms (6 au rang 30, 8 au rang 31 et ainsi de suite). Bon crochet!

Hoi Martine. Vanaf toer 23 haak je heen en weer voor de buik van de giraf, je mindert niet. Vanaf toer 35 haak je weer in de rondte tot aan het eind van het lijf.

Dear Melissa, you worked round 1 and 2 in the round, when working row 3, crochet 1 sc in each st around but at the end of row, turn and work row 4 (= 1 sc in each st all the row), at the end of row 4, turn and crochet row 5 and so on until row 7. Happy crocheting!

Bonjour Delphine, à la fin du 7ème rang, tournez pour continuer en rond sur l'endroit, et crochetez 1 ms dans chaque ms, à la fin du tour, ne faites pas 1 mc dans la 1ère ms du tour, mais continuez avec 1 ms dans la 1ère ms du tour précédent. Bon crochet!

Obrigada por sua questão. As carreiras 8 a 20 são em idas e voltas porque, depois, será nessas carreiras que irá ser unido o focinho da girafa. Ou seja, essas carreiras ficam com uma abertura para o focinho. Já o pescoço é feito em redondo. Obrigada por nos contactar e bom croché!

FILLING TIP: Gradually fill some poly stuffing in the animal when working. CROCHET TIP: Beg every sc round with 1 ch (this does not replace first sc) and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round. Turn every sc row with 1 ch - this ch does not replace first sc on row. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 sc by working 2 sts tog. This is done as follows: Insert hook in first st and pull thread through, insert hook in next st and pull thread through, make 1 YO and pull thread through all 3 sts on hook. ---------------------------------------------------------- SMALL GIRAFFE: Worked from the top of head, down the neck and along the body. Legs, tail, ears, horn and spots are worked separately and sew on at the end. READ FILLING TIP! HEAD, NECK AND BODY: Ch 4 with strong yellow on hook size 3 mm / C and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: Work 5 sc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc = 10 sc. Turn with ch 1, then work back and forth in one. ROW 3-7: Work 1 sc in every sc back and forth (= opening for snout, which is worked later). ROUND 8-20: Work 1 sc in every sc in the round without finishing every round, then work up to the middle on top of neck. ROUND 21: Work 1 sc in each of the first 4 sc, 2 sc in each of the next 2 and 1 sc in each of the last 4 = 12 sc. ROUND 22: Work 1 sc in each of the first 5 sc, 2 sc in each of the next 2 and 1 sc in each of the last 5 = 14 sc. ROUND 46: Work sc, at the same time dec 4 sc evenly by working 2 and 2 sc tog – SEE DECREASE TIP = 18 sc. ROUND 47: Work sc, at the same time dec 4 sc evenly by working 2 and 2 sc tog = 14 sc. ROUND 48: Work sc, at the same time dec 4 sc evenly by working 2 and 2 sc tog = 10 sc. ROUND 49: Work all sc tog 2 by 2 = 5 sc. Cut the yarn, bast it around the opening, tighten tog and fasten. SNOUT: Work 14 sc with strong yellow around the opening at the front of head. Insert 1 marker mid on top of head. Continue with 3 rounds with 1 sc in every sc while at the same time working the 2 sc mid on top of head tog = 11 sc. Switch to light brown. Continue with 1 round sc while at the same time working the 2 middle sc on top of head tog on every round = 10 sc. Then work 1 round where all sc are worked tog 2 by 2 = 5 sc, fasten off. Put some poly stuffing in snout, baste the yarn end around the opening, tighten tog and fasten. LEG: Ch 4 with light brown and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 6 sc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 9 sc, fasten off. ROUND 3-8: Switch to strong yellow and work 1 sc in every sc in the round, fasten off. Work a total of 4 legs like this. Fill some poly stuffing in them and sew them to the underside of body. TAIL: Ch 7 with light brown, then work 3 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, then 1 sl st in each of the last ch 5, fasten off and sew the tail to the back of body so that it stands up. EAR: Ch 4 with light brown, then 1 tr in first ch, 3 ch and 1 sl st at the bottom of tr, fasten off. Work another ear and sew them on top of the head. HORN: Ch 5 with black, then 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 sc in each of the last ch 3, fasten off. Work another horn and sew them on top of the head, on the inside of ears. SPOTS: Ch 4 with light brown and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Then work 6 sc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in first sc, fasten off. Work 5 spots in total and sew them to the top of giraffe's back. Embroider eyes with black. ---------------------------------------------------------- LARGE GIRAFFE: Work as small giraffe, but on hook size 4 mm/G with Paris. Replace strong yellow with peach and replace light brown with medium pink. |
