Bon tricot!

Hi, I am still so confused about decreasing on the hat. "Continue with A.1, AT THE SAME TIME on 5th round, dec 18-14-14 sts evenly = 66-74-78 sts.". Can you please really simply explain what is 5th round? Is it 5th row? Or is it 5th time knitting A1? I had done A1 twice already and I cannot imagine doing it 5 times the hat will be so long! Please clarify as I'm so confused and none of the answers given to people asking the same question clarified it for me yet. Thanks a lot in advance!
22.01.2023 - 23:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Kosti, on the 2nd repeat of A.1 in height you should decrease on 5th round in A.1. the 5th round in A.1 is the 5th row in A.1 (read bottom up), ie a row knitting all stitches. Then work A.1 2-3 more times (see size) decreasing the same number of sts everytime you work row 5 in A./1. Happy knitting!

I don't understand the very last instruction for the neck warmer. Sew cast on edge on the new stitches to the inside of neck.

Hi Myrna, This is the extra piece created when you cast on 10-10-12 stitches and which is fastened by sewing the cast-on edge to the inside of the neck warmer. Happy knitting!
