Also confused about the garter stitch part of the neckline. Is there a photo anywhere of the back piece when complete, but before assembly? That would really help. Thank you!

Dear Cathy, to make a nice neck edge, you will work 3 rows garter sts on the middle 28 sts (3rd size), but then just cast off middle 22 sts for neck, and keep some garter sts as a border. Happy knitting!

Having trouble with neckline and shoulder shaping directions for back piece. Pattern indicates BO 13 st at beginning of each row for shoulder shaping THREE times; why the odd number? Wouldn't that leave me with an uneven bind off; twice on one side, and just once on the other? Also I'm not sure how many more rows to continue working the shoulders before binding off. My local store doesn't understand pattern.
11.08.2013 - 14:12DROPS Design answered:
Dear Cathy, you cast off for shoulder each side every other row 13 sts each time + 21 sts (3rd size), i.e. a total of (13x3 + 21 sts) each side. Happy knitting!

I'm confused about the finished measurements for a size large at the beginning of the pattern; they don't correspond to the numbers on the diagram of the sweater at the end of the pattern information. I want to make a size large with a finished bust measurement of 37.75 inches; is this the actual finished measurement of the sweater?
25.07.2013 - 18:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Cathy, size L is for a 37.75 inc around bust, measurement chart gives in cm measures from side to side, flat. Happy knitting!

Merci d'avance.
10.04.2012 - 08:51DROPS Design answered:

Bon tricot !
