Devo lavorare in tondo o avanti e indietro?

20.02.2013 - 17:00DROPS Design answered:

Hola Mercedes, efectivamente, deben quedar 48 pts.

These booties are so cute! I was wondering if any one could help me understand the pattern. I have done the cable pattern on the top and am confused about the next step. Could someone clarify this for me?
17.07.2012 - 19:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Cris, after you have worked the cable on the top you pick up sts on the left side of this part (from RS), then knit up the sts on the st holder, and pick up sts on the right side of the top part, then continue in the round as stated. Happy Knitting!

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 – the diagram shows the pattern from the RS. GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. GARTER ST (in the round):K 1 round, P 1 round. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- SOCKS: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 48-52-52 (56-56) sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm [US 1] with Merino Extra Fine. Work rib, K1/P1 – round beg mid back. When rib measures 4-5-5 (5-6) cm [1½"-2"-2" (2"-2⅜")], K tog 3 sts (= P1, K1, P1) mid back. Work 4 rounds rib and now K 3 sts tog again (= P1, K1, P1) mid back = 44-48-48 (52-52) sts. When rib measures 10-11-12 (13-14) cm [4"-4⅜"-4¾" (5⅛"-5½")] change to needle size 3.5 mm [US 4] and work 1 round stockinette st, AT THE SAME TIME dec 6-6-6 (6-6) sts evenly = 38-42-42 (46-46) sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! Now slip the first 14-15-15 (16-16) sts on a stitch holder, keep the next 10-12-12 (14-14) sts on needle (= upper foot) and slip the remaining 14-15-15 (16-16) sts on a stitch holder. Continue back and forth on needle for upper foot as follows: 2-3-3 (4-4) garter sts – SEE ABOVE, 1 st in reverse stockinette , M.1 (beg on row 4 in diagram), 1 st in reverse stockinette and 2-3-3 (4-4) garter sts. When piece on upper foot measures 3.5-4-5 (6.5-7.5) cm [1¼"-1½"-2" (2½"-2⅞")] pick up 8-9-11 (14-16) sts on each side and slip sts from stitch holders back on needle = 54-60-64 (74-78) sts. Continue in the round in garter st on all sts – SEE ABOVE – for 1.5-2-2.5 (3-3.5) cm [½"-¾"-⅞" (1⅛"-1¼")], and now P 1 round. Bind off all sts except the 10-12-12 (14-14) sts mid front. Continue in garter st on these sts for sole and bind off when sole measures 9-10-11 (13-15) cm [3½"-4"-4⅜" (5⅛"-6")]. Sew sole to the sock, edge to edge to avoid a chunky seam. |
