Gauge: 21 sts x 40 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm. Pattern: See the chart. The pattern is seen from the right side. Sloped front edge: knit as follows from center front edge: Row 1: K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), inc 1 st by pulling up and K a st from previous row, then knit to last 2 sts before the marker, K 2 tog, K to end. Row 2: knit Repeat Rows 1 and 2. Buttonhole: Make buttonholes along right buttonband as follows (from center front edge): K 4, yo, K 2 tog. On row back, K the yo. When the piece measures 10 cm inc 1 st at each side every 6 cm a total of 4 times = 98-104-116-128-134 sts. When the piece measures 33-34-35-36-37 cm bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 4 sts 1 time, 3 sts 0-1-1-2-2 times, 2 sts 2-1-3-3-4 times and 1 st 3-4-4-5-5 times = 76-78-82-86-88 sts. When the piece measures 50-52-54-56-58 cm bind off the center 20-20-22-22-24 sts for the neck. Then dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 2 times = 26-27-28-30-30 sts remain on each shoulder. Loosely cast on 51-54-60-66-69 sts with chocolate and knit garter st (row 1 = right side). After 2 rows garter st knit the rolled edge as on back. After rolled edge put a marker 27-29-32-34-35 sts from center front (24-25-28-32-34 sts after the marker at side). Now knit the sloped front edge – see instructions above (row 1 = right side). When the piece measures 2 cm – adjust to match back – knit alternately 2 rows garter st sea foam green and 2 rows garter st chocolate as on back. Make 1st buttonhole when the piece measures 3 cm. Side inc: When the piece measures 10 cm (measure at the side) inc at the side as on back = 55-58-64-70-73 sts. When the piece measures 29-30-31-32-33 cm (measure at the side) continue with sea foam green in garter st to finished measurements. Armhole: When the piece measures 33-34-35-36-37 cm (measure at the side) bind off for armhole as on back = 44-45-47-49-50 sts. Neck: When the piece measures 33-34-35-37-38 cm (measure at center front) end sloped front edge and knit garter st to finished measurements. At the same time put sts from center front edge on a st holder every other row: 2 sts 5-5-6-6-6 times and 1 st 8-8-7-7-8 times = 26-27-28-30-30 sts remain on shoulder. When the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm (measure at the side) bind off all sts loosely. Left front: Knit the same as the right, reversing shaping. Sleeve: Loosely cast on 54-54-54-60-60 sts with chocolate. K 2 rows garter st (row 1 = right side), then knit the rolled edge as on Body. Change alternately 2 rows garter st sea foam green and 2 rows garter st chocolate as on body. When the piece measures 14 cm knit 8 rows garter st with chocolate, then continue with sea foam green in Pattern 1 to finished measurements. When the piece measures 16 cm inc 1 st at each side every 12-10-8-8-6 rows a total of 10-12-14-14-16 times = 74-78-82-88-92 sts. When the piece measures 47-46-45-44-43 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 4 sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 4-6-7-8-10 times, then bind off 2 sts at each side until piece measures 55 cm, then bind off 3 sts 1 time at each side. Bind off the remaining sts, the piece measures approx. 56 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Neckband: Pick up approx. 80-90 sts around the neck (incl. sts from st holders) with 1 strand of each color (= 2 strands). K 2 rows (row 1 = wrong side) and then bind off all sts loosely.
