Bonjour Mme Castel, si vous ne voulez pas tricoter les mailles steek, divisez l'ouvrage en 2 pour les emmanchures, et augmentez 1 m de chaque côté (= lisières pour les coutures), et continuez chaque partie séparément en allers et retours. À la fin des manches, rabattez au lieu de tricoter les 2 cm jersey envers. Vous pourrez ainsi faire un montage plus "classique". Bon tricot!

Knitting Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rows on needle size 4mm = US 6 in stockinette st = 10x10cm = 4" x 4"". Hem: Work 3 cm 1⅛" in stockinette st, P1 round (=fold – all measurements are taken from here), work 3 cm = 1⅛" in stockinette st. Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 repeat). Pattern is seen from RS, and worked in stockinette st. BODY Sweater is worked on circ needle and arm holes are then cut open. Cast on 184 (190-196) sts on long circ needle size 2.5mm = US 1,5 with pale blue and work hem. Change to circ needle size 4mm = US 6, work stockinette st and inc 44 (50-56) sts evenly on 1st round= 228 (240-252) sts. Continue in stockinette st until body measures 4 (6-6) cm = 1½" (2⅜"-2⅜"). Work M.1. Remember to check knitting gauge. When body measures 29 (31-30) cm = 11⅜" (12¼"-11¾"),inc 5 sts each side (these sts are for cutting later and are not knitted in pattern). (make sure to position 1 repeat center front). When body measures 48 (50-50) cm = 19" (19¾"-19¾") bind off 16 (18-18) sts center front for neck. Dec on neck edge on every other row as follows: 2 sts 5 times, 1 st 4 times. When body measures 56 (58-58) cm = 22" (22¾"-22¾") bind off center 40 (42-42) sts for back neck. Dec 2 sts each side on next row on neck edge. Continue until body measures 58 (60-60) cm = 22¾" (23⅝"-23⅝"). Bind off. SLEEVE Cast on 46 (46-48) sts on double pointed needles size 2.5mm = US 1,5 with pale blue, and work hem. Change to double pointed needles size 4mm = US 6, work stockinette st and at the same time increase 12 (14-12) sts evenly on first round = 58 (60-60) sts. Work M.2. (make sure to position 1 repeat on center top of sleeve). AT THE SAME TIME inc underneath sleeve as follows: 2 sts 29 (28-30) times alternatively on every 3rd and 4th round = 116 (116-120) sts. Complete M.2. Continue in pale blue until sleeve measures 36 (35-35) cm = 14¼" (13¾"-13¾"). Work M.2. then finish in pale blue. Continue until sleeve measures 48 (47-47) cm = 19" (18½"-18½"). Work 2 cm in reverse stockinette st. Bind off. This is the facing for the cut edge on the body. ASSEMBLY Mark the middle of the increased stitches each side with a thread. Sew two machine seams each side of the thread ½ stitch away from thread, then ½ stitch from first seam. Cut open for armhole along the marking thread. Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 110 sts around neck on double pointed needle size 2.5mm = US 1,5 with pale blue, change to cream and work 2 cm = ¾" in stockinette st, change to pale blue and work 1 round in stockinette st, P 1 round (=fold), 1 round in stockinette st, change to cream and work 2 cm = ¾" in stockinette st. Bind off. Fold all hems to WS along fold and sew. Insert sleeves into body RS facing as follows: sew alternatively 1 stitch in arm facing and 1 stitch in the body other side of machined seam. Turn sweater inside out and sew sleeve facing over the cut edge on the body. |
