Buon lavoro!

TVAROVÁNÍ PATY: 1. ŘADA (= lícová): Pleteme hladce po posledních 7-7-7 ok, následující oko sejmeme hladce, 1 oko upleteme hladce a sejmuté přes ně přetáhneme, práci otočíme What do we do with the rest 6 hooks on the hook?

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- HEEL DECREASES: ROW 1 (= right side): Knit until there are 7-7-7 stitches left, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, turn. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Purl until there are 7-7-7 stitches left, slip 1 stitch purl-wise, purl 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the purled stitch, turn. ROW 3 (= right side): Knit until there are 6-6-6 stitches left, slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, turn. ROW 4 (= wrong side): Purl until there are 6-6-6 stitches left, slip 1 stitch purl-wise, purl 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the purled stitch, turn. Continue to decrease like this, working until there is 1 stitch less each time before slipping a stitch and until there are 12-14-14 stitches left. DECREASE TIP: Start 3 stitches before the marker, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- SOCKS – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles, top down. LEG: Cast on 68-72-76 stitches with double pointed needles size 3 MM = US 2.5 and DROPS Fiesta. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 16-17-18 cm = 6¼"-6¾"-7". Now continue with double pointed needles size 3.5 MM = US 4 and stockinette stitch. AT THE SAME TIME on round 1 decrease 18-20-22 stitches evenly spaced = 50-52-54 stitches. Work until the leg measures 17-18-19 cm = 6¾"-7"-7½". Remember to maintain the knitting gauge. Now work heel and foot. HEEL AND FOOT: Work the first 12-13-13 stitches and keep them on the needle, work the next 26-26-28 stitches and place them on a thread (top of foot), work the last 12-13-13 stitches = 24-26-26 heel-stitches on the needle. Continue stockinette stitch back and forth across the heel-stitches for 6-6½-7 cm = 2⅜"-2½"-2¾". Insert 1 marker in the middle of the last row – the foot is measured from here. Work HEEL DECREASES – read description above. After the heel decreases, work as follows: Stockinette stitch across the 12-14-14 heel-stitches, knit up 13-14-15 stitches along one side of the heel, stockinette stitch across the 26-26-28 stitches from the thread and knit up 13-14-15 stitches along the other side of the heel = 64-68-72 stitches. Work to mid-under heel. The round now begins here. Insert 1 marker each side of the 26-26-28 stitches on top of the foot. Continue with stockinette stitch and decrease on each side as follows: Knit together the last 2 stitches before the first marker and knit twisted together the first 2 stitches after the second marker. Decrease like this every round a total of 3-3-3 times, then every 2nd round 8-8-9 times = 42-46-48 stitches. Continue working until the foot measures 20-21-23 cm = 8"-8¼"-9" from the heel-marker, measured under the foot. There is 4-5-5 cm = 1½"-2"-2" left to finished length; try the sock on and work to desired length before decreasing for the toe. TOE: Insert 1 marker in each side with 20-22-24 stitches on top of the foot and 22-24-24 stitches under the foot. Work stockinette stitch. AT THE SAME TIME on the first round, decrease on each side of both markers – read DECREASE TIP (= 4 stitches decreased). Decrease like this every 2nd round a total of 4-5-5 times, then every round 4-4-4 times = 10-10-12 stitches. Cut the strand, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The foot measures approx. 24-26-28 cm = 9½"-10¼"-11" from the heel-marker measured under the foot. |
