Bonjour Yvonne, M.2 n'a que 24 mailles, (cf encadré en haut), M.3 correspond aux 4 premières mailles deM.2 pour que le motif soit symétrique, ainsi, en taille M homme vous tricotez: 6 m de M.1, 6 x les 24 m de M.2. = 144 m, puis les 4 m de M.3 et 6 m de M.1 soit 6+144+4+6=160 m x 2= 320 mailles. Dear Mrs Smalley, after dividing, make sure cables will always be worked from RS, then read diagrams from the left towards the right from wrong side, ie K over K and P over P - cable stitches will be purled and the black squares will be knitted from WS. Happy knitting!

Bonjour Mme Marceau, vous pouvez utiliser des aiguilles circulaires en 60 ou 80 cm - vos mailles seront sans doute moins serrées sur la plus longue. Bon tricot!

Knit the increased sts into Pattern 1 as you go along. When the work measures 46-45 (50-49) cm [18-⅛" - 17.75" (19.75" - 19.25")], bind off 2 sts each side of marker and knit the rest back and forth on the needles. Bind off for sleeve caps at each side every other row: 12-6 (12-13) sts 3-6 (3-3) times, bind off. The work measures approx. 49-50 (53-52) cm [19.25" - 19.75" (20-⅞" - 20.5")]. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 115-120 sts around the neck on needles and knit rib for 7 cm [2.75"], but knit the 2 edge sts at the split in garter st. Fold the edge over double against the wrong side and sew, but make room for the fabric on the zipper at the center front. Sew on the sleeves and sew in the zipper. |
