Broad crochet border on the body: Work a row of approx. 221 (236-248) sc (divisible by 3 sts + 2 sts) around the bottom edge. Repeat Pattern 2 until the entire piece measures approx. 49 (50-52) cm. Crochet border on the sleeve: Work the crochet border back and forth from the underarm join. Work a row of approx. 71 (74-80) sc (divisible by 3 sts + 2 sts) around the bottom of the sleeve. Then work 3 rows of Pattern 2. Seam the crochet border together. Work 2 rows of approx. 75-85 sc along the right front. Repeat along the left front, but on the first row make 4 buttonholes evenly distributed between the crochet border at the bottom and the neck by working 2 ch sts rather than 2 sc.
