I am knitting these leg warmers for my ballet student son who is five feet eight inches tall Should I cast on the maximum amount of stitches in the pattern? think I need the largest size for him
07.02.2019 - 12:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Austin, the leg warmers are 21¼” in size S/M and 22¾” in size L/XL, you can then check on him which length could suit him the best. Happy knitting!

Hi do I start decreases when the piece reaches 5 cm or when the stockinette part reaches 5cm from the rib band. Sorry if this is a silly question. Thanks Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, You start to decrease when the piece measures 5 cm, so 1 cm after the rib. All questions are good questions and we are here to help! Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
