I really love this pattern, but can't find Silke-tweed yarn. Is there a link for purchasing it or you could recomend another yarn for the same pattern? Thank you

Dear Mrs Papadopoulou, DROPS Silke-Tweed is now discontinued, use our yarn converter to see alternatives and get matching yarn amount. Happy knitting!

The lower decrease for largersize is 1 st on the front and 2 on the back after 10 cm and a further 7 Dec after every 5 cm which would make the total length 45cm however the instructions say work until 42 cm. Please advise
27.03.2023 - 09:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Judy, in size XL you increase the first time when piece measures 10 cm, the 2nd time with it measures 15 cm, the 3rd time when it measures 20 cm, the 4th time when it measures 25 cm, the 5th time when it measures 30 cm, the 6th time when it measures 35 cm and the 7th time when it measures 40 cm (7 times on every 5 cm). So that all decreases are done when you have to purl the 2 rows - but if you are working size L (3rd size) then you will increase after: 10 cm, 14 cm, 18 cm, 22 cm, 26 cm, 30 cm, 34 cm, 38 cm (8 times on every 4th cm). Happy knitting!

On the back, the pattern says - continue in rib. It's not clear to me what the return row is. Is it the same as the first pattern row or is it purl 4 knit 2. The photo isn't clear enough to see this. Thanks Jeni.
23.07.2020 - 14:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jeni, On the return row you do purl 4 and knit 2. It is a continuous rib. Happy Knitting!

I’m working on the front section and have come to the decrease at the centre front. The pattern says to “ dec 1 st at the centre front every 3 rows, 14 times.” I would come back to the centre front every other row and so can’t figure out how to decrease at the front every third row. I must be missing something here (being a newbie). Could you please explain? Thanks.
28.01.2019 - 17:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rosemary, to decrease every 3rd row you will have to decrease from RS as well as from WS, on left front piece, you will decrease from RS at the end of row, from WS on left front piece you will decrease from WS at the beg of the row. Work 2 rows without decrease between each row with decreases. Happy knitting!
